Aside from a mention of him here and there I can’t find any consistent opinion on him. Thoughts?

I really don’t give much of a shit one way or the other. I don’t like his music, or his sound at all. I won’t buy his CDs or anything. but..it’s whatever.

really that’s how I feel about most people on PSY right now.

I find him talented enough. I am mostly excited that they took a risk on a kid who has a style that’s so far removed from the usual Psychopathic Records alumni.

If he doesn’t do dumb collabos with ICP and Co. along the lines of “Kickdoe” with Boondox(which isn’t awful, just jarring from a cohesive album standpoint) and more along the lines of “Surviving the Game” with Paris, or “Leff Field” with J and Monoxide… then it could be quite successful to the ears.

For me this guy makes abks lisp unnoticeable…lyte sounds like that green monster that lives in a garbage can from sesame street.

I have no hope for this guy, he would be better off behind the scenes or ghost writing

He seems skilled enough but I haven’t really heard anything that sparks my interest. Hopefully when he releases his own music it’ll be solid. If not, I won’t mind much.

I feel like his only selling point is that he’s a fast rapper, but, to me, he doesn’t even do that well. His ”fast raps” are kind of choppy and punched in and really don’t have the flow that BTNH, Twista, Killa Klan Kaze, Koopsta, and other notable fast rap acts have/ had. I see him as being too typical to really develop and interesting style that grabs my attention. I also feel like he’s going to try too hard to appeal to juggalos and come off as really inauthentic. Time will tell.

But I’ll still peep anything he drops and give it a fair chance.

I was thinking the same thing! His scratchy voice isn’t raw, it sounds like he’s 19. If you jacked that kid up alone, while begging to let him go, he’d speak perfect english with no trace of ghetto.  “Who’s down to move pounds, real life shootouts?” I  like his lyrics, not so much his delivery. And for real, 10:1 that kid doesn’t even know where the hood is. Esham, now he’s another story.

*oh, and the green monster from sesame street is Oscar The Grouch! lol!

Devil’s advocate, Oscar The Grouch is pretty ghetto. He’s in the hood so deep he’s got a trashcan lid roof.

I like the song from the psychopathic site, and the verse on the recent psypher…I can’t stomach the happy jolly beginning of the year track so no opinion there. I look forward to his debut as long as he has good concepts and substance, maybe he’ll have DTF or PJB features since he’s a Flint resident.

I think he is solid as fuck.  I’m pretty sure you all will be surprised when his 1st album drops.  PSY needs that new blood, bunch of dinosaurs up there…

I dig him, from the little I’ve heard. He’s coming over for ICP’s tour (just said on Twitter), so will get to judge how he is live which is cool.
