If you were at last years Gathering, you heard J discuss a new Lotus album coming out at this years Gathering. Now, with Death Pop in production, you think they're still gonna release it? My wig would be blown away if a new Lotus comes out.

It's still a possibility I know we haven't heard anything yet but there was one hint a few months back, where ICP posted a Dark Lotus picture on their page just out of the blue. The MDP is done they are finished with the album and they are in the process of fully planning the Gathering of the Juggalos for this year. Twiztid's Kaos and Kronik tour is soon to be over so the only thing they have to look forward to is Hatchet Attacks and The GOTJ. So with that they have two whole months to knock out a Lotus album. I mean I hope a new Lotus album comes out its still a possibility its been four years since the last one so I hope they stick to the plan.  But I will agree that with the big promotion with MPD it might not happen but I do remember the seminar from last year and Violent J did say that they are hoping that if everything goes as planned they hope to release a new Dark Lotus album.

I figured they would have recorded a lot if not all of Lotus while on the American Psycho Tour (if that's the tour I'm thinking of with Twiztid, Blaze, and ICP all on it)…they may still surprise us with it this year but if not early next year I'd expect…if they don't release it J will probably say in the seminar this year that they were so busy working on all this dope new material that the Lotus was not ready to be revealed to the universe or some corny shit like that lol

that wouldve made sense. take a trailer studio with them on tour- let Mike E Clark hook up the beats and they could've thrown the vocals down. that'd be sweet, a whole LOTUS record produced my Mike E Clark

the joint with Hutch obviously wasn't Lotus material though and really only J and Twiztid rapped on it (Blaze just did the chorus and Shaggy just said some shit at the beginning lol)…I know Tech N9ne and other artists will do that when they're on tour…record collaborations with other artists they're doing with…just figured since they were all on that tour they may have gotten at least a few tracks done…I dig Lotus more than Rydas because though Rydas are entertaining after a while all the song concepts/lyrics start to sound the same….Lotus on the other hand have much more creativity to experiment…all 3 of their albums sounded completely different production wise and in a way concept wise too…i liked Kuma's production on Opaque Brotherhood though I know a lot of people didn't and would like them to work with him again on this next Lotus record at least a few songs as well as Mike E Clark and even Seven if possible

I know the shit with Hutch wasn't Lotus I was saying they recorded it while on tour. One part of the video was Mike on the tour bus making the beat. You can speculate that some Lotus, MDP, Twiztid or Blaze was recorded on tour.

good thing it was called “the ONLY solution”  but I’m sure you will figure out something completely retarded to associate with that title too
