Mike P jacked most of that groups album for hells pit
Yeah the PSY squad got sued as well. Kills a huge part of the album for me. Best not to think about it.
So maybe Mike P can’t do evil wicked beats well. I know we had Esham and Kuma and others on there as well, but those Midnight Syndicate tracks were all over the album.
Said it once and I’ll say it again:
An ICP album with Mike E Clark doing the wicked tracks and Mike Puwal doing the good vibing shit. Throw Kuma in there too, I love his experimental additions. Dare I say, an Otis track or two, with some contained, well-placed Otis vocal backing. I never thought I’d say that.
^ that would be a fun album. And the way the clowns are writing and performing almost as they were in the “Diamond Rain” era… you can’t lose.

I absolutely loved Mighty Death Pop. It was the soundtrack in the background of the 2012 Gathering, which was by far my favorite of the ones I attended. Still, I can listen to any of the songs from it, and they will bring a smile to my face because it makes me think of that Gathering.

I just don’t understand how Mike P made shangrila and hells pit was all sampled. Shangrila is easily one of my top favorite albums, beats and everything. Guitar work and beats were dope. I’m not opposed to MEC working with ICP its just his sound selection is meh. Some of the beats on house of wax were MEC and I just wasn’t feeling them. I’m picky as fuck though. I can’t stand listening to ICP on 808 drums, it’s annoying save that shit for a KJC or something not on ICP songs. Use regular drums or live drum sets for ICP. I’ll probably never get another icp cd that i am straight up fully happy with but whatever, I guess I gotta be happy that they are still around.

For me it was The Missing Link: Lost. While I liked The Mighty death pop, bang pow boom, the tempest and stuff. It didn’t leave me with that feeling of excitement and joy that i felt during the original six.
While I enjoy the new stuff a lot, I just listen to it casually, not as hardcore as I listen to their older music. The Missing Link: Lost has a great sound to it and I truthfully enjoyed the entire album.

There’s only a couple of songs on Found that I ever bother to skip, being Mr. White Suit and Juggalo Party, and even those are listenable when I’m in the right mood. Found on its own is pretty solid, I think, but it’s even better when you consider the Marvelous missing link as a whole, especially if you include the Outtakes album. Just a shit load of content, man.

Speaking of bizzar bizaar, is there one juggalo out there that actually hates those albums?
I hated them when they came out for the same reasons people hate the new shit. It wasn’t the old shit. I got over it though. I still don’t love the albums, they’re not great, but they have a few songs here and there that I dig unlike the tempest set of projects.

My hubby and I were listening to them yesterday and remembering how fucking fresh they are, and now we’ve been randomly quoting their song lyrics to each other all day haha
