As far as Shaggy 2 Dope, i could care less if he writes his lyrics or not, His charisma, his voice and fucking psychopathic classic SCREAMS!!! make him a trademark 4 their music. most of the time shaggys just talkin or yelling on songs, if J writes his shit who cares cuz shaggy makes it sound like an ICP song lol.....kinda like dr dre gets his shit written by people like eminem lol like when "crack a bottle" leaked and showed how Em raps it and Dre learns it lol..
its just weird how shaggy was a top notch rapper on albums like "bizzar", check that track "take me away" thats a classic dark carnival song and shaggy was killin it! he was flowin on dark lotus tales from the lotus and especially psychopathic rydas "ryden dirtay"....then he sounds mad sloppy drunk on the whole "black rain" album lol

i mean blaze doesnt write all of his own lyrics so its not like it would hurt shaggy with me or somethin.. im just curious as to how much is actually him & how much is J..

im pretty sure that J writes the lyrics. they are his concepts and ideas. i remember J sayin that shaggs is more along the production side especially back in the day Shaggs was on the turntables, and did alot of the character voices. i dont think anyones gonna go up 2 shaggs and question him about who writes his lyrics, shaggy will just deck you in the jaw before u can realize u shouldnt ask
madrox really did good for the writing he did for blaze, especially shit like "maggots" and "in the casket". those are really good songs. i know madrox did some for abk early on. i think J and Esham wrote "your nedens haunted" for abk too. i like how they can share lyrics, cuz in hip hop thats not really cool but in our world the artists help each others project succeed. sometimes people think J is controling and they leave to have more control of their product and they all just decline and fall off big time (marz,myzery,project born,abk)
