I disagree. I like his shit a lot on the new DL. I admit he’s not nearly as angry and psychotic as he used to be, but money will make you a lot less pissed off. Dude is overweight, but besides the fact that I don’t want to to drop dead anytime soon, I consider it none of my business. Let dude eat. He can always pay for liposuction later on.

A lot of J’s verses on the new Lotus had that same lazy style that I first heard him use on the Fuck the Police guest feature for KMK off of the Long Live the Kings cd. It just sounds like he ain’t trying too hard when he uses that flow.

Honestly, the way I look at it, if J wants to eat, he’s gonna eat. If he’s gotta switch his style up to compensate what he’s able to do, then that’s what is gonna happen. Not better or worse, just different. Personally, I like the more laid back style, I mean did any of us really expect him to stick to his sound on Riddle Box for the next 20 years?
