J solo albums aren’t really necessary imo. I mean wiz of the hood was a fresh ass concept album I must say, but we hear enough J on ICP as it is, if you really pay attention shaggs only raps on about half of their songs, alot of times just does the hooks, sometimes not even that, and J writes most of the stuff he does do. He’s a glorified hype man. Nothing agains him the cause shaggy is that ninja no doubt. But with that said Shags solo all day, FTFO was the shit!!

Yup, definitely time for another Shaggy solo album. I loved Wizard of the Hood, but Shining wasn't burning so bright for me. I haven’t been disappointed with any of Shaggy’s solo material yet, J just released one like two years ago, so it’s Joey’s turn to step up again.
Not that it matters much, but I honestly thought this thread would be about which of the clowns we prefer as a rapper. Lyrically, I’d have to say that J is better, but more often than not, I prefer Shaggy’s flow. And also his voice, it has so much grit to it.

Creatively yes. But Shaggy’s got the multiple talent thing down. Artistically inclined (drawing/grafitti), and the DJ end with the cutting authentically on vinyl too I know they do it cdj pioneer style on the web radio show. But hes no “laptop dj” dancing next to his buttons like these dubstep “artists”

Hell yea man thats a tight idea. IMO It would be fresh to see a shaggs abk collabo album, seeing how they both have indian descent. I do wonder whos getting the next solo album thou, i really would like to see another 2 Dope solo venture, im always happy with shaggs' verses

I love J he's witty and creative but SHaggy is a beast when it comes to just being real and gritty. I prefer Shaggy's solo stuff simply becuz he reminds me aof the gangsta stuff i grew up listening to. He sometimes flows off beat but its still on somehow. Listen to Kept Grindin and you will know what im talking about he raps after the snare instead rite on it like most rappers so its off but on at the same time and he does that on a few other songs. He is a lot more talented than people give him credit for. STAND OUT TRACKS: cLOwN LuV, kEEP iT sCRUBBiN, sOUTH wEST sTRaNGLA
