It really sucks that The Wraith is not on iTunes anymore, so now I’m stuck with this:

I’m surprised you listen to ICP in that shitty audio quality. I can only listen to their music on disc now, MP3’s sound like a different version of the song to me.

Unless of course they release a cd that I would have to buy in a 100 dollar box set full of stuff I already own.yell

Then I’m reduced to peeping that shit in MP3 lol

I consider myself to be a bit of an audiophile, making the attempt to switch over to vinyl for about a year until I got sick of the prices and upkeep needed for the perfect vinyl sound. Lately I been looking into the Pono music player… knowing it will cost me around $400, then prob another $300 for new headphones, & another $100-200 for possible a preamp & other accessories… Im a little hesitant to get it not knowing if it truly sounds amazing as they say it does. anyone else ever been interested in it?

Yeah, I read that like, “Huh?  Shitty quality?”  1440kps .wav format is shitty?

iTunes offers all high fidelity audio qualities except .flac.

Yeah, I do remember mp3s being much more compressed than wavs, when I copied music from a computer I had to convert it to mp3 because I didn’t have enough room for wav.

here’s one. http://test.tidalhifi.com/

There are others, too.  Honestly, I’m a little skeptical about tidal’s seeing as how they’re running a business of selling you high fidelity audio.  lol

Im a little skeptical too now… I just got 5/5 on my first attempt. lol. I wont lie… I feel pretty good about myself now.
