I tried calming ya down man, several times. Thought your only beef was with scruffy so thats the one that warranted my attention. Not that im anybody, just tried to figure your angle. That cleaned up and i asked mom if we could keep you. Since then youve shit all over the carpet and ate krunks shoes. Bad dog!

The Chess Club in my elementary school was full of legit thugs at my school. We would sometimes play SNES, sometimes chess. Basically it was a place for the city kids and the rougher country boys to congregate after the day was over. A few of those dudes ended up in prison. We tried our best, but life is tough.  

Dude, you were legit in a chess club? I thought those only exist on tv. Not putting you down whatsoever. Your “i know a guy” resumé just grew, by a paragraph!

I can partially play, im no good but i know the majority of the moves. My girl wants to learn but i know ill teach her wrong, then once she really learns i know she’ll kick my ass.

Ill buy a chess set, and “let you beat me” but maybe my girl can learn the moves… You missed this year cause your moms birthday, howd all that go?

Gonna try to go to the next gathering but can’t make promises. 

It went well. We flew to Florida and went to disneyworld. I grew up less than a half hour from Disneyland so it wasn’t really much different. The family had fun. 

One thing that was very different was the animal kingdom. We’ve got nothing like that. It was beautiful and the lion king show was amazing. Not big on avatar but it made for a great “land”.

At magic kingdom (Disney main) we got stuck on it’s a small world for 45 minutes. That wasn’t great but at least it was air conditioned. 

We don’t have all the rain in cali so that part of the trip sucked lol

It was mostly an effort between my mom and some of the staff to help keep the low income ones like us out of trouble. My brother was the only really good one. I remember the head guy letting me win once. I tried my best, lol. Was a way to build our self-esteem.

One of the best chess players I’ve met was an older cat who played a decent role in my life at times. He honed his skills in prison. I got into a fight with him in the snow and smashed his face something serious, but that story has already been told on here somewhere. Anyway, watch out for great chess players; they tend to be a crafty bunch, and can use their skills for no-goodisms. 

I can picture Noah stuck on that ride with a bunch of cartoon faces saying “Duff beer for me, Duff beer for you…I’ll have a DuffDuffDuff…..”
