I think that they are talking again. Putting Esham’s og version on the HW comp. It reflects on ICP so its like they are excepting Esham for who he is. Also Esham has not said anything negative about the clowns for awhile now. This is how they work and how there relationship is. Esham talks shit every so many years. Then they are cool with each other. This pattern has happened at least 3 to 4 times over 20 year span. Its cool whatever I like both ICP and Esham so it doesn’t effect me really.

I just feel like almost every time he gets involved in ICP’s shit, he pretty much sabotages their career with some stupid garbage.
um… how?
i mean, it doesnt seem to have been very effective sabotage, whatever it was.
when eshams good, hes great. when hes not good… yeah.
maybe talking to icp would motivate him to get back to great mode for a while. im all for that. havent enjoyed anything at all from esham in a grip.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I want esham to put out a good ass album with full length songs. It doesn’t have to have 45 songs on it esham, quality over quantity.

Esham sucks. He was good once upon a time but that is history now. I still believe he has a chance but he needs to re-vamp his style and attitude. The recent things he has done in his career has really made me dislike the guy. First off his music has become complete shit and is majority nonsense. He attempted to push a junkie ass (puts drugs in her butt) twat face cunt weasel on his “fans” (what little amount he has) which was stale and a hint to what he has been up to (getting herps and heps while doing dope). He talks shit about most everyone. All the people he tried to reach out to he has talked shit about at one time or another. Besides all of that I still think he has a chance because he did at one time make some pretty dope music and he could do it again with the proper help….so he better start kissing some clowny butt cheeks.

It’s relieving to see a lot of these reply’s.
I’ve seen a lot of comments on youtube and what have you about Esham still being like a god and how ICP just sucks completely now. Whether you like ICP’s new stuff or not, it’s clear that they’re trying and I personally dig MDP and some of the BPB tracks. That’s just who they are now, style and subject wise. Esham, it’s like he doesn’t even try anymore. I actually really liked some of his old stuff, but so much of what he’s done in the last ten years just sounds like he puts no time in. I remember some of the tracks he did before the last Gathering he performed at (2009?) and they were so lazy. There was a specific track where he just repeated the same words over and over, and he sounds tired. MAD tired.
Ultimately, I feel like everything negative that Esham’s had toward ICP is out of jealousy. He probably feels like he deserved more credit for inspiring such a successful group.
Esham has had much darker subject matter in his rap. ICP has a lot of lighter themes and messages that Esham stays pretty far from. Esham and ICP are two completely different styles, and I can easily see Esham not feeling what he inspired ICP with.
It would be cool if they were on better terms, but they aren’t, and I don’t see them reuniting again in this lifetime. If they do though, good for them. Most will say that rap is all about disses and feuds but I don’t believe that. Yeah, it happens, but I’m not against rappers and rap groups ending hate and becoming friends, or at least, being on friendly terms with each other.

I liked doubelieveingod, kill the fetus and closed casket, other then that hes pretty whack to me. His time on PSY I thought he would channel some of that style he used to have, but then came with the repentance angle and meh. And I hated a lot of his production on hells pit, and SV well that was awful but wasn’t all eshams fault, Lavel sucked too and helped make that album shit.

I love Esham’s music, but it guess they don’t sell it in the stores here. I went to FYE and they didn’t have any of it, I had to do that Play anywhere Burn thing, it’s like an official burnt CD, it even says “do not copy” on it. Which is weird. But I bought it anyway, because I figured it’d be better quality than downloading it from YouTube. I got Boomin’ Words From Hell, Kkkill the Fetus, and Doubelievengod?, I listen to FUQQERRBDY every once in a while. It’s not like they were back then, but I still like it. I do agree that some shit might sound lazy, but he still has his good recent tracks.

But I wanted wicked shit. I’m glad I came across Satanic Verses by Flatlinerz, and Diary of a Madman by Gravediggaz, also Big L’s Devil’s Son, now those are wicked shit. Love those tracks. Why ain’t no one jealous of them. I thought those were one of the wickedest. Until I hear more. I’m still uncovering.

That’s good to hear. I stopped listening after the 10th Gathering. Not because of the CD he put out then, just got tired of the new stuff, plus, some older Esham that I liked got too dark/bleak for me. Go ahead and say I’m weak or whatever, I like rappers who can throw in a little light here and there. Never heard that on any Esham CD’s except for when he tried to be funny. I’ve found that I like rappers I can relate to more, Esham hasn’t been one for me. I have a good friend who still loves Esham though, and while it might sound like it, I’m not trying to hate. Just adding to discussion. I mean it though, that’s good if he’s still doing good recent stuff, I’m not wishing bad things on him or any rappers. Even rappers I truly dislike, I’m not that kinda guy.
Remember when he wanted to be the mayor of Detroit? I never heard all of what went down but remember that song he made with the Slumdog Millionaire beat (guess that was M.I.A., can’t remember now)? That’d be a new topic but I forgot all about that til now.

Esham hasn’t been good solo since dead flowers and natas hasn’t been good since http://www.com. When James Smith got locked up everything in eshams career just gradually started going downhill. That said, prior to that, in the RLP days, they were putting out some of the best shit in the underground.

You summed up my feelings on this. I see no reason to diss him but he was never someone I got into. The SVs weren’t bad but its not something I go back to frequently.
I forgot all about “Keys To The City”. Had to go back and watch the video, out of control.

If SV had come out back in 2003 or whenever they originally started talking about it, I bet it would have been great.
A lot of the raps are pretty tight, but the production and lack of Shaggy verses makes me sad.
Not really an Esham fan, but he KILLS it on Black Plague. It’s over is great, too. Wish we could have heard a Soopa Heroez record.
