First off, I doubt any papers ever actually get filed. That being said, so far it's a great idea since it conveniently happened right around the time the album dropped netting them tons of free press.

We rep a Juggalo FAMILY called OCJ in Va, that goes to shows in groups and generally chill together and though its not a gang, anybody in it with hatchet tattoos gets locked up in the gang unit, which has caused nothing but headaches and bullshit in my area. So get em ICP i m tired of getting pulled over for my stickers, then getting fucked with for my tats

I said it before and I'll say it again. This was a publicity stunt to get attention for the MDP release. We won't hear much more about it I'm willing to bet.

I think it's a stupid idea because until Juggalo's quit selling fucking meth, weed, and fire arms they won't be taken off...... Plus all of the fucking stupid cliques they start.... repping bright colorful bandanas..... shit maybe this only happens in my town though hahaha.......

Its a smart marketing move that might be worth it. Shits gonna be expensive though. Its obvious they'll lose though gang related by abk gang rags with blaze, inner city posse being their origin, all the violent crimes. Their is too much negative.

The song gang related is the exact point they are trying to make. You might be doing something right now ... That in someone else's eyes would be gang related. Poor example there ... Either that or you missed the point of the song totally.

This happens in my town as well, and honestly a lot of those "crews" just start shit with other ICP fans.

Doesn't the song say something like "Are you a Juggalo? Then you're in a gang. You rep the JRB. JRB? Juggalo Rydas Bitch!"
Everytime the topic of Juggalos=Gang? is brought up I remember that line from that song. If they do take this to court its definitely not gonna be a "slam dunk case"
I kinda think it was a publicity stunt. Something to say at the gotj to get people hype. I will be surprised if it actually happens. I think the announcement was just to test the waters and see who in the mainstream media would jump on to the story. If it became page 1 material it probably would've happened but since the media forgot about it after 1 week I don't think anything's gonna happen.
But if ICP Does stick up for the Juggalos then mad props to them.

if both sides decide to run with this [which i doubt, but its possible], using song lyrics as evidence would probably be counterproductive. everybody remembers tipper gore and all her bullshit, and psy wont get very far by holding up lets go all the way and saying, 'its not all bad, see?'
whether we get off the list or not, im hoping that there will be at least some good things to come out of it. for one, individual ninjas may realize just how much damage they can do to all juggalos, and make a little effort to look better. as lame as that sounds, its still not a bad idea.
for another, id like to think that maybe when a juggalo gets busted for something, they wont show up for court with a psy jersey on yelling 'woop woop' on the way to jail. that kinda thing.

I haven't heard anything about it since GOTJ but then it's only been about a month. If they're seriously gonna go through with this, I imagine they'll need 6mths-a year of prep time to gather everyones stories and determine exactly how they wanna move forward. Assuming it actually happens, it could be a huge victory for juggalos. It should be a huge victory for ICP either way because the mainstream media will take notice and bring them more free press. If they go to court and don't do so good though, we all lose. Juggalos are seen as a bigger gang threat and the law starts coming down on us way worse than it already is. I still suspect it was all a publicity stunt for MDP but time will tell I guess.
