Falling in love with the world is a bad thing. We start accepting everything and loving things we are against.
Last I checked they already got recognition for their hard work from people who actually care about them, juggalos. But juggalos aren’t enough for ICP anymore. Now they’re going out of their way to be puppets to get mainstream love from people who never will care about them. That’s greedy. For years they preached against conformity and we’re supposed to give them props for conforming to what they preached against? No thanks. That just tells me they’re full of bullshit and serve money. Sell outs. You can try to justify it all you want but that’s exactly what they are. I mean what’s next they start dissing juggalos and do parodies of their own videos so they don’t stand for anything anymore?

You have to be able to laugh at yourself. The bottom line is that the TV stuff promotes the band. It’s like how they used to slather the town in flyers, it’s just the way to promote your music on a national level. If people think ICP is just starting to promote themselves they are in serious denial. Promotion is fundamental to ICP. These are just new days and the industry has changed. If ICP expects to continue to be successful, to some degree they have to continue to evolve tactics. Tosh and The Soup are both great platforms to promote their music. Most importantly, like I said… you have to be able to laugh at yourself. Who takes this shit that fucking seriously?

why does it make them sell outs if they want to expand their audience.They have a business to run and to run a business you need to make money.That’s the real world and that’s how they view it and they should.If they don’t continue to make profit they will disappear cuz they cant stay afloat.It costs a lot of money to run a business, so that’s something you don’t understand, hell neither do I.But the t.v,like our guest has said, is a great platform for ICP to promote themselves, to get people to listen.Just like fliers back in the day, now they get their name across to millions of t.vs instantly.
