I was thinking about it earlier. I’d really like to watch ICP in the studio, or producers they have working on stuff make beats and such. It’d be really cool to see that done. Not alot of artists do it, if any that I know of. It doesn’t have to be all the time but like once a month or something would be really awesome. Kind of like how metallica used to do back in the day.

There are some live studio sessions of ICP around The Mighty Death Pop! Era on YouTube just type in ICP mighty death pop studio sessions and it’ll pop up there’s a couple that don’t have sound tho and I’m not sure if the other ones do or not but you could check em out lol

That was like one of the shittiest streams ever. They totally muted the stream and played music over top of it or didnt even have any sound at all. I never fully even watched one they were so boring.

Not to mention that it’s half “staged”. While I’m sure some of these are ACTUAL sessions, the fact that they are wearing their paint (to me) means these aren’t the kind of “bare bones”/ behind the scenes kinda shit these types of videos are MEANT to illustrate.
I forget the words but there’s a psychological phrase for the way people’s behavior is different when they KNOW (or THINK for that matter) that there is someone watching or are being actively filmed. No matter WHAT, people ALWAYS act differently than they would within a space when they know they are being watched… My Google skills have not yielded the term yet…

They painted up because they knew they were gonna be on camera. Doesn’t mean it’s not behind the scenes.
They did this during the Mighty Death Pop sessions and streamed it live so the fans that kept asking for it got it.
They were just giving them what they wanted.
Oh… and the “no audio” thing…
Y’all know just how secretive ICP is when it comes to their projects. Did you think they were gonna let you hear MDP before it was edited and mixed?

Ahh I see what you’re getting at here.
This is possible but that would mean no one has ever really seen any genuine behind the scenes footage.

Even if it was a dvd of all the producers they use in the studio showing them making each beat would be awesome. there’s not enough of that out there anymore. think it would be a cool edition. Just like shaggy and Js solo, how cool would it be to get dvds with them making each song on there? Haven’t gotten a cool dvd in a while. Same for twiztid.

I’d say about 80% of the beat making is done from their home studio’s. I’m sure they’ll bring it into the Pod and maybe spread the stems out on the board and mix it, but watching them cut vocals would be pretty cool and seeing their process, but that’s impossible and never would happen.
But man there is a TON if beat making videos on the Tube, check out Rhythm Roulette!

Well j said they are working on 3 documentaries, maybe one is a recording/behind the scenes type doc. I also think they mite be shooting a doc at the gathering again also.
