94,000 copies is still not bad, but keep in mind they put out 3 different versions knowing juggalos normally will buy every different version to collect ’em and get the bonus flavor. I’m shocked that it only sold 94,000 copies. It’s a half good album though, it will never be considered a classic. Throw in youtube and downloads and there you go.

I think the older juggalos have so much already they don’t jump at the release date to cop it. Sorry ICP, but I bought Milenko, Ringmaster, and the Riddlebox ten fucking times each over the years. I bought MDP a month late and only copped one version. I plan on buying the others and I’d bet many more will. Give it time and the numbers will keep inclining. The young juggalos were raised on nothing but the internet and shit. Plus they’re fucking broke. Can’t blame them – they’re young and broke. I’d download that shit too if I were them.

I got mdp day of release. It was the first icp album i owned, the first thing I bought with my first paycheck from my first job. It’ll always own a space in my heart. And if juggalos weren’t a “gang” and I weren’t going into the military/law enforcement I’d have that shit tatted on me already.

I got all 3 copies at the Gathering at the same time, I wonder if soundscan has the numbers for those copies sold. Saw lots of people coppin’ that shit. My least favorite ICP album but the bonus shit is cool as fuck. Has anyone listened to the whole freaky tales all the way through more than once? I remember there was a ton of funny lines in there but the beat annoys me after awhile.

ima cd collector so i preordered 2 from hatchetgear and got the other a couple days later. 94k is pretty damn good considering the state the industry is currently in. im not sure but soundscan may only count albums sold through stores. so those sold at gatherings, shows, hatchetgear may not be counted. idk they seem more focused on tv right now than music anyway

I bought 4 copies. A more telling statisic would be the acutal number of people who bought the disc, I would imagine that number is in between 1/3 to 1/2 of actual units sold (94K), accounting for Juggalos who purchased multiple copies.
ICP has never earned the lions share of its money from selling records. They have made a bulk of it through merchandise and touring, so they should be just fine… Oh wait…
