Man I gotta say I think this is an amazing idea for The Humane Society T-Shirts.
I just wanted to make a post about this because animal welfare is a subject close to my heart. I’ve always valued animal welfare and done some work for animal charities myself, so when I saw this news I thought it was amazing!
I’d love to be able to pick one up from the Juggalo Weekend but I’m from the UK so I can’t make it! Really hope they put these on Psychopathic Merch so I can buy one.
Love the design, love the idea, Love the cause.
Way to go Ruby.
Also I just wanted to say…
I’ve been a fan of ICP since 2003. A few months ago I got to see ICP live for the first time when they came over to the UK. I met them in VIP. I have to say meeting them was amazing, but not only that the crowd, the fans, the Juggalos were the most amazing people I’ve ever met. The atmosphere was the best I’ve ever been to at any show. I came away with real friends! That week going to the shows in the UK made me proud of ICP and Juggalos.
And when I seen this post about the charity work for animals, again it made me proud of ICP and Juggalos.
Personally the last couple of years has felt brilliant to be part of the Juggalo community.
Just wanted to post my thoughts on the subject.
Anyways, if anyone picks up a T-Shirt post a pic.
Have an amazing time at Juggalo weekend to those who are going!!!!!
:D

write this down: animal shelters kill animals. they have to kill animals, its basicly the only practical option.
if they dont kill animals, its literally only cuz they send em to another shelter that does. bet that.
it sucks, but its the way shit works.

You missed my point scruffy. If a pit bull or other “dangerous” breed shows up at the humane society and a microchip or owner cannot be found within maybe a day or 2 they are euthanized whereas a beagle or golden retriever can stay for months or longer until adopted. I didn’t say anything about the shelter being over populated or the dog actually being a threat to people or other dogs. They kill based on breed without a chance of adoption. At least they did when I volunteered there a couple years ago

oh, im hip.
im just sayin the idea of a ‘no kill’ animal shelter is a bit of a dodge.
and im fine with that. long as its done, ya know, humanely.
ive no special love for pit bulls. nothin against the dogs themselves, its the owners that are the problem.
nearly every pit bull owner ive known seems to have only gotten the thing so they can say ‘i have a pit bull’. they dont train em, they dont especially care for em. usually all they do is yell at the dog for trashin somethin or growlin at people… then they stake it up outside and go on about how docile and loving the breed is while it rips up the yard. ugh.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I have a feeling that this has more to do with state laws than humane society policy. I have no evidence to support that though, so I might as well be talking out of my ass.

I would probably buy the shirt if it benefited homeless veterans or the like but I definitely won’t do it for dogs and cats. I am not an animal hater, I actually do like cats if they are outside cats. Outside cats don’t even need to be fed. They do just fine without human intervention.
My point is that I am more likely to support something that benefits humans than something that benefits animal welfare.
