I saw this really country looking dude do a cover of Suicide Hotline on the acoustic guitar and it sounded really cool. ive also heard like folk versions of Miracles. has any one ever heard or seen anyone do any more of their songs but on the acoustic and do it real different style. This duo also did a Lil Sumtin Sumtin in a folksy way. If anyone knows of another song that has been done in that way let me know cuz i think thats innovative and sounds tight.

That's fucking funny that you say that man. IDK if anyone raps/sings while they are in their car, but my crib was broken into a couple months back and all my cd's are gone. Radio isn't an option either, so I just entertain myself. Anyways I've done what you are talking about, taking wicked ass songs and sing them in a country style..It's not good by any stretch of the imagination, but it's fun to do. If you can find a youtube video post it…Ima go look for some myself

Thats sucks that your cds were stolen man.I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago.Someone broke into my car and stole them all.Worked my whole life collecting albums. My fault for keepin that shit in my car I guess.I live in a good neighborhood too.Anyway I like the idea of taking ICP songs and people doing acoustic covers of them. Some are really good man. That one you mention of lil somethin somethin is really good.I'll look for that country one,I would like to hear it.

Yeah honestly that's the one thing that I take personal is my cd's. They are the only thing I owned that are priceless to me. It does suck spending years building up a collection only to have it taken from you. It's happened to me twice actually…The first time an ex took em with her when she left. Oh well, it's just stuff I guess

That songs translates really well into country to me.I understand that most juggalos  likely hate the genre, but the wicked shit and true country have a lot in common. A lot of storytelling, a lot of woe is me, and a lot of that inner turmoil that goes on in most of us

I dont like counrty music, but I dont hate on it either.I appreciate all types of music, there are good songs in any genre.A lot of the old country is good to me.All the new shit is too poppy and lame but its like that with most mainstream music nowadays.

Agreed…That's why I said true country..That save a horse ride a cowboy shit is for the birds…I love all genres too man. Horrorcore, metal, 90's, rock, classic rock, punk, ska, country, alternative. If it speaks to you then the genre shouldn't matter. Just depends on the mood I guess

Could never get into Punk or ska for some reason.Like you said if it speaks to you then what does it matter.Just cant get into it.I like horrorcore.metal, rock, classic rock/oldies,reggae,60's,70's,80's.90s,alternative,some electronic music is really good too like M83.Have you heard them? They were on the Drive soundtrack.Another band on there called College is really good too.Love that soundtrack and movie.Really dope.

I'll have to admit i'm ignorant when it comes to electronic music…Is it like Daft Punk type shit? I always(probably wrongly) associated electronic with techno, and I fucking hate techno….I got a question. Do you know the difference between techno and dubstep? I still can't tell the difference

Dubstep is more bass wobbles like skrillex.I like Skrillex alot actually.Dont care for Dubstep or trance much though cuz to me it all sounds the same. They are very similar though.Trance is fastster BPM, beats per minute starting slow and building up progressively. But they are very similar in style.

I got inspired today i was talking with my friend and passing the guitar around and watching youtube videos. I even saw dudes doing some Bone Thugs songs and making em sound really cool so i thought i'd cover my own rap songs and do em acoustically. I  think it sounds really cool for some one to do Suicide Hotline with a guitar cuz it sounds like thats the way it should be like on some Hank Sr. tip. I would love to see more of ICP's songs done like that. Ive done Chicken Huntin like that but it just sounds like rap over a Guitar. I cant see the videos from work but i will check em out when i get home.
