I wish that was true, but I doubt it. At this point a coin flip might be the decider.
Both ticket prices are almost identical
ICP show is twice the drive, hr 1/2 to Reading PA vs 45 min to Philly
Iv seen ICP a million times but I’ve never seen Cage
Never seen Kool Keith (unless he played a gathering and I was too fucked up to remember…which sounds like a plausible scenario…) and Iv never seen a solo U-God show
The Kool Keith/U-God show is at an awesome tiny ass dive bar, while ICP is at a venue I passionately hate
It almost seems like Kool Keith/U-God would be the easy winner, however I will greatly miss the faygo shower and seeing fam. Plus seeing two acts that could potentially be lame since Iv never seen either live (though I seriously doubt it) vs a guaranteed good show seems a gamble. The Wicked Clowns never disappoints.
Also one final note, showing up early enough to catch Cage at the ICP show means I would also be subjected to an hr plus of shittty ass metal bands…
The more I think about it isn’t making it any easier…

Id say Kool Keith and U God while I’m not a fan of Kool Keith like that nor U God solo but fuck my opinion on them if that’s your shit cool….the environment and travel seems like the deciding factor.
Cage is dope but I wish he’d cut his damn hair put on a NY fitted and wear a Weatherman shirt instead of looking like a damn hipster. Also I’d wish his set was mainly Movies for the Blind and Hells Winter material, he has the Esham dillema on his last few releases (meaning I barely like a handful of tracks per release)

I’d say Kool Keith, but that’s strictly because the people working the venue in Reading (The Reverb) were so disrespectful to everyone in attendance the last time I caught a show there that I’ll never step foot in that place again. IDK if they hire private security or not, but each “guard” was blatantly carrying 9 mm’s, pushing people around, and just completely abusing their power. I’ve been to 1000 live shows all over the US and never saw anything like it. It wasn’t like that 4 or so years ago so IDK if the venue changed hands or what. Fuck Reading!

Yea, that’s a big part of why I said I passionately hate that place. Security is extremely powertrippy there. Also their sound system is complete ASS and tears your ears up sumthin fierce. Only positive things I can say about it is free parking (how often do you see that?!) and the layout is great for warm weather months with the outback bar/grill area.

Here’s what will happen:
You will end up picking the u god and kool keith show. Once you get there it will seem like an alright setup. When the show starts you will notice the mic and speakers sound cheap af…as the sets continue you will realize that u god and kool keith are just some average old guys that can hardly rap anymore and they’re just doing karaoke at a bar. It will they hit you that you are missing a real concert….you will then totally regret your decision as you sit at a small bar knowing you could’ve been at and epic icp show

Reality hurts. I’d go see ICP. Like they said earlier, Cage hates Hell’z winter and movies for the blind, but ICP throws great shows so I’ve heard.

Cage did a decent amount of MFTB and Hell’z Winter tracks at GOTJ….and that’s blasphemous if he hates his two best releases.
Well he’s all sober now, so it must hurt him hard for him to rap stuff like
“You sniff coke too much, well you can blame it on the mint leaves I roll too much.”
