remember the good old days, when I.C.P. toured the country, 4 or 5 times a year ? now a days, you got 2 travel 2 Detroit 4 Hallowicked, Jugggalo day or G.O.T.J.! They don’t tour, no more !

I wasn’t complainin. I just meant like why complain about “having to travel” to events that you always had to travel to.
ICP always comes by LA so maybe I’m just lucky or something but I have an opportunity to see em at least once or twice a year, sometimes more. I don’t always take them up on it anymore but I used to. Touring is rough, though, and they’re getting old. Plus they put out a few albums last year and two this year, that shit cuts into touring time.

I remember when BPB was released they were in Philly 4 times with 2 years or so and that was kinda recent.

Honestly, I’ve seen 100+ ICP house shows (not that many, but you get the idea). Seeing them at a GOTJ though is on a whole other level. Because of that I don’t even really watch for ICP tours anymore and much more look forward to when Twiztid is coming to town. I honestly think they put on a better show (not at GOTJ though).

I haven’t seen them at the gathering, but their shows on the road are fun as fuck. I love em. And I like that they’ve been changing up the lineup a bit. On shockfest they did amy’s in the attic which used to be my favorite song and I’d never heard them do it live. That made me really happy.
That said, I’m sure I’ll just die at the gathering.

If you like being in the crowd, ICP at the gathering is completely different than their shows. Many times more people. Most of them have not bathed in 4 days, It really stinks. If you have any trouble catching your breath, don’t go into the crowd. You will get compressed.

ICP in a small venue is the best way to see them to me. I’ve only seen them at the Gathering once but I’ve seen them multiple times at large/outside venues and it doesn’t translate as well. Everyone singing together as one unit and Faygo covering everyone just feels right. Larger/outside venues makes it feel, unless you’re right up on them, that you’re outside of the show or something.

Next tour I might do VIP too. Just a one time thing with my friend. I know some people who do VIP for several shows a tour like damn it be nice to have that kinda money.

I’ve only done it twice, for two separate shows. I loved them both but I couldn’t imagine doing it multiple stops on the same tour. Not just the money but by the 5th show you’re just like ‘so hows the road crew doing…”

What do you think the next tour will be? Supposedly they were gonna do a Killjoy Club tour where they did a full set as killjoy club but now they got Lost and Found to tour. Seems like that would get priority.
