I’m what you call an active listener, not that I can’t be a passive listener, specifically when at school. But I prefer to completely envelop myself in what I’m listening and add my own form of context and try to visually see what I’m hearing. Usually I pace back and fourth with my bluetooth headphones walking in circles around my kitchen completely focusing on what I’m listening. Sometimes sitting down and (attempt to, I’m not good at it) do things like roll my eyes into my head, and other stupid edgy shit, but it helps me focus entirely on what I’m listening, and relax a little if I’m listening to something like Ouija, but for icp I’m usually pacing the whole time.
