“Dealt you a very odd hand, a hand of 6 Joker Cards, this is very rare” – Really? How rare?
Or if @wow-a-chick chimes in she will probably say “Well…if you wanna get technical…there’s now a total of 78 cards in the deck: facebook.com/darkcarnivaltarot” … or maybe she already has.

J’s MDP Hatchet Herald interview has part of an answer:
“QUESTION: Now the first set of Jokers Cards had a countdown of six, till the end consumed us… this second hand is more random in appearance and expectation, so what is the plan to be expected of the final message?
VJ: We left off the graphic showing the 6 boxes with Bang! Pow! Boom! in the first box and question marks in the other 5 because if you look at Carnival of Carnage (the 1st Jokers Card of the 1st Hand), you see that we left it off there as well. We tried to make the 1st Joker’s Card of each hand more of an introduction to the Dark Carnival itself. I think with Death Pop it will all become clearer and the countdown graphic will defiantly be on there.
As for what can you expect for the final outcome, it can only be one thing really. Hell’s Pit again and Shangri-La again. I think the ending to the story will once again be death. The end of your time. Then it’s off to Heaven or Hell. We will release another Shangri-La and Another Hell’s pit album, only this time it will be a new guide taking you there instead of the Wraith. It will be all new music of course but with the 6th Joker’s Card of the 2nd hand. I hope this shit makes since and is as clear to ninjas interested as it is to us, because I can see it in my head clear as day.”

Ya know what I think it is…?
I think it’s all you young bucks out there that have no sense of time. That when yer thinking about “10 years ago” your age ends in “something-TEEN”.
All this shit about J and Shaggy getting old (or even Mono and Maddrox) and talking shit about how they can’t do anything when they turn 50… Wait till you hit your 30’s. THEN you can begin to wonder about your OWN ability to do shit and have people talking about how you can’t. It’s rap and hip-hop. As long as the muthafuckers can talk and walk, they can stay in the game. As long as they have something to say and can stay current with their sounds, they will be doing it.
That’s some reverse age discrimination bullshit. Led Zepplin hoped they’d die before they got old… but they still rock it (although their lead singer can’t hit those notes like he used to). It’s when their “old” asses try to STAY young that they start falling off and shit gets stale (and fuck up their faces and bodies in the process so you wouldn’t wanna look at them anyway). But like Dave Chappelle said about Michael Jackson, they do that shit for YOU. They fucked with themselves because they think that’s what YOU needed…
It’s dumbasses like you that can’t find it within yourself to enjoy anything that isn’t or wasn’t as young or made when YOU were/are that kills. It’s how we end up with bullshit like we see at award shows that no one but a bunch of KIDS listen to. It’s how fuckin’ Kanye gets up a twitter meme with idiots saying, “Who’s this Paul McCartney guy? I bet his career blows up after working with him!”
Talk about “stale”. Down with the clown till you’re dead in the ground? Sounds like you ain’t and we should be throwin’ roses…

You can’t really get mad at somebody who didn’t grow up in the age where The Beatles ruled for not knowing the names or faces of the members of The Beatles.
true. but still funny. or ridiculous, either way. gotta figure the vast majority of kanyes fans are twenty or younger.
if you wanna look like you know the first thing about music, you probably oughtta know sumn bout the beatles.
and michael jackson, elvis, mozart, etcetera. all the big game-changers. or at least one should be bright enough to know to look it up before speakin on it.
course, im not hip to whatever meme twitting yall are referring to. maybe it was all meant to be sarcasm.

For @scruffy

While I know that there are Juggalos that listen exclusively to Psychopathic and friends and I have ABSOLUTE respect for their commitment, unlike us “old folks” in our 30’s, there IS a thing called the internet now. EVERY kind of music is available on a whim. ICP and Twizted and even Tech have gone out of their way to talk about what ELSE they listen to and are in to; what turns them on and out and what inspires them, both in and BEYOND their own love of hip hop…
Rap artists are always giving shout outs to the shit they listened to. Not for street cred but for OTHER people to check out. Most often, these other artists are STILL churning out material but because they don’t fit some bullshit mold the young-ins’ wanna emulate, get discounted.
Paul McCartney is garbage these days. And I’m not saying everyone should go listen to The Beatles during the “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” days and find some deep meaning from “A Hard Days Night” but if you know nothing about how they changed music… the guitars, the presence, the psychedelics… than you have nothing to say about how ICP have changed THEIR game.
All I’m saying is that age means nothing. Shit that was made a century before any of us were the crust in our father’s eye can still hit you like a brick. Genres of music that may not have anything to do with you, can still hold a few gems that might mean more to you now than anything that will be. OPEN YOUR FUCKIN’ MIND!
Shit talking a person’s aging as a reason for failure is ignorant. When people dog ICP for getting old, they’re dogging every other Juggalo that was there when they started and stayed with them for all these years. *I* was not one of them. But many roads lead to the Dark Carnival and not everyone takes the same ride there.
If you don’t like 90% of what they’re doing, then peace out, POOF! be gone. Don’t shit in my cereal and be that snobby fuck in the record store parroting “The old shit was better”, when I like what they have going on NOW just fine…

That gets my respect. Far as the Beatles go, each one except ringo was way better solo. George Harrison , Paul McCartney with wings. John Lennon was great in the Beatles because I believe he was the captain of that ship. They’re all great artists. It’s a shame that they’re becoming a joke or seen as a fad by today’s generations.
I agree. And there’s a slew of other bands that get the same wrap. From Fleetwood Mac to Nirvana…
I blame the new generation of the commercialization of music. The way it gets sold to people now as a commodity and how copyright laws have COMPLETELY warped how people receive and PERceive music. People’s ears have gotten “dumber”. Dumb shits waiting for “the drop” have no sense of musicality, no appreciation for the fingers doing the work. Oh sure, they think Jimmy Hendrix is a great guitar player but have no idea WHY.
And I think that kind of “dumbness” carries over to ICP and Twizted (amongst other examples). It took me a while to find a place of appreciation of what they were doing and had done, but once it hit me, it just opened me up to everything they were and are about.
But I guess I’m in a minority that has the ability to listen to and hear all of the elements that come together to make a song rather than just seeing it as a lump sum. Age may affect speed but it doesn’t affect quality just so long as their heart is still in it.

Twiztid is gone.
Blaze is gone.
Yep, and Yep. But I still listen to them so for me, they aren’t really gone. Just not on the label.
Them not being on the label effects juggalos.
I myself (and I can tell you MANY other juggalos) believed that twiztid was the last hope. They were the one group that held psychopathic together, and with them gone (along with blaze) it puts psy in a serious lack of creativity.
I am sorry but I do not see big hoodoo, and vanilla ice being the new faces of psychopathic.
I never liked blaze, and haven’t felt twiztid in years. I’m into ICP more now than ever. The last few albums have been so on point. If you aren’t feeling what they’re doing, that’s fine but to say that they need someone who is on some other shit to succeed? Nah. They got there on their own.
Twiztid being off psy doesn’t change anything.

First off I think Psychopathic is looked at as more of a brand then a record label (well maybe to me it is) but when ICP is done (hopefully not soon because I am defiantly digging their new deck) yeah I do think this juggalo movement will dwindle down fast. I will always look at twiztid and blaze as PSY just because they were key components at building it up… but in my opinion ICP is the glue that holds the juggalo world together. One way to look at it is like this… what will the GOTJ look like with no ICP, I could be wrong. but I think it would be much smaller with half the attendance gone.
