Outshining ICP? Reality check, ICP still has a much larger fanbase. Fact. They consistently chart better with album releases and sell way more tickets then Twizzler when on tour. For example, ICP plays the electric factory in Philly every time they come here. Its a huge ass venue, and they ALWAYS sell that bitch out! Twiztid thought they were hot shit like 2 years ago, and instead of playing smaller places like usual, and played there. The result? A half filled crowd. They haven't been back there since. I'm not saying fanbase and record sales. Lyrically, beats, etc Twiztid has “outshined” ICP for years.

I did say mostly lol. Plus I’m still getting used to considering these last 2 “joker cards”. And Twiztid could never be original enough to sever themselves from that reputation. The moment they try most juggalos will say they’re selling out. Think I’m wrong?

yeah i know most juggalos will think that stupid shit but lol @ “original enough” theres nothing more unoriginal than another 6 jokers cards haha

alright i misread what you said at 1st still tho at this rate theyd have to severe their juggalo affiliation if they really wanted to reach a level they can

Hard to compare nowadays their styles have changed since the end of the first six cards, both twiztid and icp. Jeckel brothers and mostastless days sound alot along the same lines message. I guess I would say the coincited with each other. Now you got some ninjas on team twiztid some on team icp the rest show em both luv. Its kinda given twiztid more of an identity with having a different style than the clowns. MCL

All the songs on this album keep growing on me the more I listen…the sign of a brilliant album in my opinion. I might even like this more than Death Pop and I usually like ICP's album more than Twiztid's…but this album is just fucking awesome!

The reason I like ICP more than Twiztid usually is because they are more unconventional rappers, they do different weird shit that doesn't flow like regular rap or hip hop and I really could give a fuck less about rap or hip hop unless it's Psychopathic or Prozak, pretty much everything else is wack to me…I'm more into metal and other genres of music…

Plus it seems most people who are really into hip hop think ICP are a disgrace to rap or hip hop…even horrorcore these days…that's why ICP's music can't be defined it's too different and experimental that's why we just call it wicked shit!

not to me.. a brilliant album is somethin i like immediately during the 1st listen.. psychopathic & rlp's really the only shit i'll give a 2nd spin in hopes it grows on me..

Well we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

I like albums that grow on me the more I listen, they tend to have longer replay value in my experience. But I do agree it is cool when a song grabs you straight away! Blood…All I Need was that track for me on Abominationz…

And I don't think ICP is anything like hip hop, maybe some of their softer tracks…but I think in general if it has to be any established genre it would be rap in my opinion and yes I do think there is a difference between the two…

id say LDLHA-IBCSYWA definitely was one of em for me.. gotta give the album a 2nd spin in the mornin

loooooool please breakdown the difference in your opinion

i describe it as hip hop cuz like my music they cover allot of hip hop sub-genres & in a sense create some of their own so instead of labeling each song or album individually i just put it all under the hip hop banner

Well I'm sure everyone has their different opinions on this topic and it probably should be in its own thread and it would be easy to argue that all rap comes under the banner of hip hop; and you would be right and I’m not going to debate that.

But I do feel there’s a big difference between the sub-genres of Hip Hop. Such as Hardcore Rap vs R&B which is softer in terms of the delivery or the lyrics.

As in people who yell when they rap and people who are mellow in their delivery.

Maybe a good example is Easy E vs Drake! LOL

Two totally different styles in my opinion, even though you could argue it’s all Hip Hop…

My point is I think it’s safe to say most people who are really into Hip Hop would not consider ICP a part of that genre and consider it a disgrace to their beloved art form if anyone was to suggest it is, but maybe that’s just my perception…

yeah i feel you there's allot of close mindedness in the hip hop world.. R&B has been around before hip hop tho.. drake does both sing r&b & rap but yeah

Loved it, I agree the first listen was kind of a question mark but after that I cannot put it down. The skits were great imo.

Loved the album defiently a step up from h&h, it bothered me that they jacked the psychopathic psychiatric hotline from Komatose skit “leave a message” on sin of man which was taunting and haunting.

I've listened to a solid half of the album on youtube and what I've heard sounds great. I think coin flip lunatic stood out most to me, 'specially monoxide's verse. Also, I liked some of the subtle, almost subliminal, name drops mono placed in some of his raps, the only one's I caught were Bone thugs and Rob Zombie.
