After hearing the newest single, its official (or its been official for a while but yeah) that J is trying to appeal to the more hot topic 15 year olds of today.
Promoting some shitty suicidal bitch is apparently what us older juggalos want.
Fuck outta here
Although so far I am not a fan of hers I think I see where J might be coming from with this gimmick.
Ok hear me out for a second. There are some juggalos that love the gathering atmosphere AND the feel of the shows in general but tend to lean more towards the Rock/metal side of things then rap. So at the gathering what do they do? They add some artists that are not rap.
So here is my theory…J knows she wont appeal to the older juggalos who like the current stuff, BUT maybe this might appeal to a younger and more emotional generation of ninjas thus increasing profits and bringing in more fam.
NOW, only time will tell whether or not said strategy will work but maybe and hopefully this is the idea instead of giving up on all the older ninjas.

Not everything psychopathic releases has to be geared towards us older ninjas. There a lot of younger cats that get down and it is geared for them with all of their crazy emotions. Eventually they get older and will appreciate the things us older ninjas like. I don’t think it’s a problem to tap into the market of a younger audience. It will keep the hatchet swinging for years to come.
However, I would like something geared towards us older cats in the next few years to come. Just out of curiosity to see if us older juggalos can even agree, what is it you expect from an artist to appeal to the older crowd?

I’m not really a fan of her music, but god damn, most of the hate towards this girl is straight up misogynistic.
Half of the shit people are complaining about is all stuff that applies to any other Psychopathic artist. ICP/Twiztid have made “Hot Topic” friendly songs. Hell, I saw some guy on here say he HATES her because she “glorifies mental illness”. What the fuck? Do you know how many songs ICP/Twiztid have made about having a mental illness?
I still rather PSY sign Blahzay Rose types than DJ Paul types/Cold 187um/Dayton Family types who don’t fit the label at all, regardless of their influence.

The idea that her music is “too emo” is baffling.
This is my playlist for juggalos who think her music is “too hot topic emo”
(Like Broken, this dark lotus track talks about self harm and depression)
(like white lights, this song talks about a victim of abuse and their desire to get back at the assailant)
(like Bulimic Becky, this song is about a kid who doesn’t fit in at school and strikes back)
(like Raped at 15, this song talks about how a girl being raped can lead to someone losing their mind though in this song it’s her boyfriend who loses it after going to jail but still)
(like Tommy, this song is about obsessive desire turned dark)
Bonus Tracks:
suicide
emo as fuck but that’s OK right cuz it’s not a girl singing it I guess
oh look another “high school emo kid” song like tommy or bulimic becky
more “emo shit glorifying mental illness”
and another (hell, this entire album basically)
Can we, for one second, stop pretending like this is some shit that ain’t never been part of the juggalo sound? Like stop with the “emo faggot” shit. Stop with the “hot topic” shit like half of us didn’t buy our ICP albums and shirts in hot topic when we were teens. Stop with the “oldschool juggalos don’t like this” shit, too. I’m oldschool as fuck, just like most of the people around here and I think she is fucking dope.
If you don’t feel her shit, that’s cool. Say that. Don’t sit there and try to speak for all of us.

Nailed it.
It’s fine to say you think her music sucks, but the reasons people are using are completely illogical. Don’t bullshit with “it’s too emo! they’re mocking mental illness!, etc.” because as shown, you can find dozens of ICP/Twiztid/Lotus, etc. songs that have the same themes.
They don’t like hearing the female perspective of themes often touched on by Psychopathic for decades now. If that’s the reason, then just say it. It’s as if they feel the female perspective is inherently inferior and “wack”. Again, if you feel that way, just say it, don’t try to bullshit with “she’s too Hot Topic”

Couldn’t agree more! Alot of juggalos are some of the biggest hypocrits I’ve ever met.
