For the record, I only saw screen shots of this post.  Either Otis or whomever’s thread he commented on removed it.  It was also on his personal account.  I fail to see how not posting it would make us look bad.

Also, for the record, I reached out to James right after I saw this.  I told him that he has our support regardless of the beef, just as I told George about the whole MNE crew.  I won’t get into details, but I absolutely said that our door is open if he wants to speak publicly on it.  Again, the last thing I want to be accused of is being biased or unfair when it comes to the scene.

To be fair, though, Otis didn’t get a lot of credit. And I mean, literally. Don’t get me wrong, they did give him props in interviews all day long and really tried building him up as the next big thing. But I always thought they didn’t handle it well on the Killjoy Club album. He wan’t on the album cover or advertised as a member of KJC at all. It was only ICP + DM6. Eventhough he was on almost every track. But he also wasn’t mentioned as a featured artist on the tracklist. So anyone who would’ve picked this up, who isn’t very familiar with AMB and DM6 or ICP, would’ve just thought he’s just another member of either ICP or DM6. And a new listener who liked what he heard and wanted to check out more, would only have looked for more ICP or DM6. I dunno. I guess making him an official member of the group would have made him an “equal” which ICP/DM6 didn’t want and having 90% of the tracks say “featuring Young Wicked” would have cluttered up the tracklist. I just think if you are rapping on a song, you should be credited for it.

Where that CD link at Milko? Mr.Soundscan, big music industry man. Post that UPC-EAN code so we can search your fucknut CD on the Soundscan database. Shit, put up a Discogs link and shut me up. Unless you were full of shit that is…

Put up the UPC/EAN code or Discogs link or don’t even bother. Tapes and CDs don’t mean much without distribution. For the record, singing in a musical doesn’t give you any insight into how Soundscan works, unless you were on the business end. You can bet I know someone who works at the HG warehouse.
