This song is from 2014 way before that tech interview. Even when it was released with  “strangers” replaced with “bitches” I remember thinking it was partly about tech and strange. 

Nah I’m calling bullshit on this one, I just listened to it twice and that is such a stretch of the imagination to think that is a Tech N9ne diss.

I wonder why ICP would worry about dissing or upsetting tech and strange music. J obviously directed some of this shit at them and it was obvious with the “strangers” line being changed to “bitches”. They never worried about who they offended in the past. If they have a problem with strange copying psychopathic, using juggalos for merch sales and never giving icp credit or even putting them on an album let it be known. It’s not like most juggalos wouldn’t ride with icp over tech. Then after all the crap about tech’s interview and the “beef” they pretend to be friends knowing damn well they recorded this subliminal diss 2 years earlier. J was probably venting and realized the diss would be obvious and changed it to keep peace in the underground scene. They shouldn’t have changed it. 

Always been unsure when House of Wax was recorded. I’m assuming late 2013 to early 2014?? (Keep in mind while it released late 2014 ICP had mentioned a EP in a hatchet Herald earlier on.) But listening to the EP you can tell J was in a different mindset then what he was when Lost and Found were recorded in late 2014. This track and Two Shot gave me the vibe ICP was gonna call the shots and take names and no shit on the 3rd jokers card of the second deck. Especially the line “we’re sick of showing love when don’t no one show it” Didn’t really get that since ICP focused on a message rather then dissing whoever. Plus Found was ICPs lightest work to date. The mindsets are night and day. Makes me wonder the mindset for FFF.

Reeves is reachin lmfao!! All he said was the word strangers literally lol 1 word thats it what cuz Strange Music exists he cant use the word strangers? Makes no sense he may have switched it up cuz it flowed better with the song. Jesus this dudes a fuckin tryhard haha!

i find it equally plausible that the line was meant at face value, ‘strangers’ bein about the only way to say, ‘promoters and/or acts that we dont know’ in a quarter of a second [try it].  then, perhaps, he changed it so as to avoid, note, avoid being tied to tech.  

actually, theres no perhaps about it…  either way, thats why he changed the line.  that is about the only real conclusion that can be drawn from this.  

even if it was intended to be a sly diss*, still ended up changin it, and for the same reason.  

That’s the only comment I’ve seen so far that addresses this being an attempt to not dig at Tech.  This is an earlier version of the official release, so maybe someone pointed out “hey, that sounds like a Tech diss” and he had said “oh shit, it does” and fixed it.  So the song without it got released.

Then some mongrel who likes to stir up bullshit found it and declared non-verbally “hey, this is proof that their beef with Tech goes back at least 2 years longer than you thought.” And, God help them, people bought into it.

And if by some miraculous coincidence it is an intended Strange diss and J wanted it to unfold in exactly this way to make it appear as bad as possible, how bad is it really? 

Keep in mind that sequence of events is “record song.  re-record song with one word changed.  Release new song.  Wait 2 years.  Leak it to a guy that nobody takes seriously.  Make sure it ends up in an internet forum.  Let Reeves slander ICP for it. Gain…???
