Nah what are you on ninja how’re you gonna say Hell’s Pit tops W.I.C.K.E.D. or that anything is equal to riddlebox? No way dawg no way. and AJB gots plenty of meaning on it. Hell’s Pit from what I gathered was put out to appease fans who weren’t satisfied with the uplifting sound of Shangri-La and add more depth. AJB is one of their deepest albums man.LTB said

Their message is what drew me to them more than their music, the dope ass music is like a bonus to the experience of the clowns themselves. To me anywayhaha thats cool.. which message 1st drew you? the carnival? shangri-la? a specific album concept?
All of the above man. The dark spin the took on basic Christian concepts, the subliminal way they allude to God and Satan’s roles in the world, the self reflection it inspires, the retribution it calls for against the truly evil people of the world, it’s all so great.

I think saying “The N word” is worse than saying nigger. It sounds so childish

In a sense yea, you see I started listening to the music and I thought it was dope. When I think something’s dope, I research and absorb as much info as I can on it. I used Wikipedia as my primary source of learning. I kid you not, I sat there for easily a full week of school (the school issued iPads to students this year) and spent all day in school reading and reading and researching the meanings of the jokers, the message of the carnival, what ICP themselves were all about, etc. and I was in love. I started buyin up the cd’s like candy and I haven’t been disappointed with a single one.

This is how I first discovered ICP.
>be 13
>sister shows me this funny song (neden game)
>i think its awesome
>hear another one song a little later (rainbows n stuff)
>COOOOOL.jpg
>fastfoward to early 2009
>friend (now hates ICP and like swagfag shit) shows me boogie woogie wu then what is a juggalo
>just found out who they were
>start realizing that I’ve been a juggalo my whole life
>do basicly what LTB did
>holy shit
> steal all their music because I’m broke as shit
> start getting into the underground
> the rest is history

Nah What I’m tryin to say is I liked the music. Which made me look into them. I like plenty of artist but don’t nearly follow them anywhere close to the way I do ICP. When I say their message drew to them I mean that’s what made them stick. I’ve bumped plenty of artists but I’ve never sat there and been so enthralled in it that it was all I could talk about or listen to like I am with ICP. you feel me?

Hells Pit was great. Wish they released that before Shangri-Lah. I thought the production was great. Not their best work of course but its a good one. The ending track was even cool, to an extent. Night of the 44, Bowling Balls, Truly Alone,Suicide Hotline, 24/7, Burning Up, Angels Falling, all good songs. Didn’t really care for a few songs on there but overall it was a great album. I forget, at the time, was there a box cover for this release? Cause I don’t remember seeing the Wraith on the album cover.
