I wanted to start a post to see what Juggalos/Juggalettes thoughts are on the Hatchet Herald from past (old email format), present (new website format), and future (what you’d like to see).

Speaking only for myself, I am definitely not a fan of the new website for the Herald. It’s hard to explain, but I liked the personal (dare I say intimate) feel of getting it in my inbox (wow, this whole sentence sounds dirty) on a weekly, if not monthy, basis. With them porting it to a website, it feels like they’re taking the lazy way out. As it is, they still send an email to say go to the website so I don’t get the move. I can only imagine PSY is going to phase out sending ninjas emails and we’ll just have to check the site from time to time for updates (which we already have FLH for so why bother…)

Anyway, long story short, not a fan of the HH anymore. It was cool, and I looked forward to, getting an email a couple years back, especially when it was a weekly thing, and get updates on anything and everything to do with PSY. Also, It was the little things that made it like Shaggy’s comic strip that ran for a few months at the bottom, letters sent in from lo’s and lette’s, or the little “easter eggs” that were sometimes there to look for.

So what are yall’s thoughts on the Hatchet Herald and what, if anything, would you like to see in the future. Aside from going back to the newsletter style emails, I would personally like to see all of those little things I mentioned above and then some. When you open your daily paper, every article isn’t a major announcement. It’s the little things that give it substance. I’d like to see articles from different employees at PSY, maybe like an oddball funny classified section, or even some fucked up (and made up) sports stuff.

IDK, maybe it was pointless for me to type this whole post, but whatever. What does everyone at Faygoluvers want PSY to shove in (or up) your inbox…?
