HOLY SHIT!
...Has it really been 10 years to the day that the 6th dropped???
Wow! Happy Wraithaversary, y'all!
I was 16 at the time. My brother and I were living with our parents. We didn't have much--one disc man between us. Damned if we didn't scrape together what we had and then each take turns listening on our one set of headphones. At the exact moment I read the little piece about the butterfly, I found this old butterfly pendant that had accidentally slipped into my backpack as a kid on a school trip to NYC. I remembered feeling SO bad about "stealing" it at the time...I wanted to return it. That purity and that innocence...it was there for me, too!
And when I finished listening on our one disc man, I went out front the house where my brother was smoking, and up above our heads was this GIANT rainbow. It was such a beautiful moment. Next thing you know, here I am, chillin at the big top...
Do you guys have any good memories from that era?

I remember getting it at Coconuts the day it dropped. Listened to it and and loved it. First time I saw them in concert was the Shangri-lah Show in Philly.
HELL YEAH! I was there. And there was that show in Old Bridge, NJ right after that. They tore that place UP! One of my favorite shows ever!

I went to Borders before they went to only stocking a top ten rack….and the chick working in the cd section was like "there over there"(I was all juggalo'd out back than ICP shirt ICP braids). I remember liking it front to back at the beginning than later on liking certain ones, it was definitely a time and place album I even remember JT popped off at that time too. Cuz a chick at school was geeking bout getting his album same day I was jamming Wraith on a DISCMAN.

i waited 5-6 years for this album. it was well worth it. i was at the gathering in 2002 when they announced the plans for the wraith and revealed the image. awesome album. very different from the prior jokers cards, no mike clark was a scary thought back then. im glad mike p is back and cant wait for the new zug album. i remember the wraith instore. u had to walk through this funhouse trailer but j was absent due to getting wrist surgery. shaggy, jumpsteady and esham were signing shit so it was cool.

Shit, I was pickin up my ex from high school when all the sudden BLAM a psychopathic street team van pulled up and the ninja drivin it asked where everyone was, so I told him school was already out, he seen my ride tattooed up in psy stickers and said I could get the word out better than him so he gave me a stack of posters and samplers and told me to give em out. I ended up saving a poster and a sampler for myself still got it hangin around the cave. MCL

I got up on stage that night too. Stellar night to say the least. And I never been to a show outside of Philly except the Gathering and Allentown for an Esham show.

I live in the UK and back then I used to order all my Psy releases on import through a tiny indie record shop called The Quarterdeck. They were obviously all imported and hellishly expensive. I also had to wait for weeks after the release date to finally recieve my copy...these were the days before easy internet access and amazon. Those releases were all so precious to me as a result and The Wraith was no different.....I can safely say it was the most anticipated release of my young life at that point and although it was different than I expected (and different to the other cards) I enjoyed it and still listen to it now with a sense of reverance that I don't afford other albums.
