I heard ICP is not working tix sales thru live nation anymore, wich is where a majority of the Fillmore tix are sold thru. That’s going to suck because live nation does the Verizon wireless center in noblesville, home of the devils night shows as of late

The Fillmore was always such a convienient venue for an ICP show. took me less than 30 minutes to get to Hallowicked with good traffic. now its gonna take me like 45 minutes to an hour to get to Royal Oak! WTF!?

why would ICP ditch Live Nation if a majority of their shows are sold through them(being that they are partnered with Ticketmaster)

how will you survive?

i guess youll just have to move to royal oak.  either that, or send a strongly worded letter to psy, advising them to do the show in ypsilanti instead.

i gotta drive out of state to catch icp AT ALL.  theyre having a party in your backyard, and youre saying wtf because its not on your porch?

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

I suspect it goes back to slicing the cheese.  I don't think that outside of the venue's box office, there are a lot of tickets sold at ticket outlets which, around here at least, are at the local grocery store.  If the majority of people are buying tickets online anyway, why should they sell through Live Nation/Ticketmaster and let them pocket $10 or whatever per ticket?  Say the venue holds 1,500 just for example, that's $15,000 that could be going to Psy.  The base price of a ticket is usually about $20-25 before all the fees and bullshit.  So if they just sell tickets for $30 each with no additional fees, that's theoretically an extra $7,500 at least.  They'll lose some on shipping but figure most orders will be for 2 or more tickets so assuming they pay the standard price of a stamp and the vast majority of orders ship to the US/Canada they're out maybe $700 tops which still leaves them $6,700 ahead all while saying “fuck the mainstream ticket companies.  we went further underground because we want you juggalos to get a better deal and we hate the outside”. It's all win for them.

Does this work for a large scale tour?  I'm not sure but for a one off show like Hallowicked it's a pretty great plan.

i was hoping that this years hallowicked would be lumped into the mighty death pop tour. but who knows, maybe it will be.

what if they did like they did a couple years ago with the Old Shit/Big Ballas party show where they did the old shit show upstairs and had the Big Balla party downstairs in the shelter…….they could do a RIDDLE BOX show upstairs in st andrews hall, then move the 18+ party downstairs to the shelter.

I dont care for the Fillmore, thats the last place I wanna catch the clowns. S.A.H. will always be the best Hallowicked spot in my eyes at least. Royal Oak Theater is alot better then the Fillmore and for me its closer since I live by Flint. Shit I would have driven an extra hour to have it not be at the Fillmore. mcl

I just picture the interview from the shockumentary slice alittle bit off the cheese, slice slice slice and by the time it gets to us we owe money quit buying our shit cause were going broke. mcl

I agree S.A.H. and Majestic are the two places to watch ICP live. I remember the Ritz or uhh started with a P in Roseville, MI.

the ritz and the palladium were the same venue….they actually re-opened the ritz in warren at the formerly known Hot Rocks bar(same place Eminem pulled an unloaded gun on that guy who was fucking his wife)
