Okay, so I’ve seen a lot of people say they didn’t like this version, and my question is…

Am I the only one who thinks that album is the shit??? It was my first Blaze album I bought and I thought it was the shit, Swine Flu, Deadman Walking, Dub Sack, B&E, Lights Out, 3 Evil Wizards… imma stop before I list the entire track list, but, every song on that album is the absolute shit. Love it.

Gonna have to agree with ya.
Gang Rags is the shit.
It seems like anytime Mike E. Clark is involved with a project it always turns out for the best

I think it sucked monkey balls and seemed forced…they did too thats why they remixed it.

I thought it was alright, deadman walking and swine flu are dope. DAMN BITCH is awesome too. The extended version he released on tour was the best, it was what he originally wanted to do, supposed to be called “Last House On Dead Street”. I thought reborn was shit.

I haven’t liked anything that he’s put out on MNE so far.. No Mike E Clark.. No Violent J lyrics/song ideas.. eh. He needs to get some more Lost Koast (Underrated) beats like on Clockwork grey.

I hated OG GR!  And ima massive Blaze fan, that’s the only CD I didn’t buy from him.  After the horrible reviews when it first came out, I downloaded it to check it out and i had to agree with the masses……It just sucked flat out.  GREAT concept tho, that shoulda been one of the greatest Blaze albums EVER with that idea behind it if they just kept it gangsta and not corny with shitty beats.

DMW and 3 evil wizards were the only couple tracks I liked off the first GR. I agree with Novo the Colton Grundy stays near my CD player (I know, I’m old as fuck).

I feel all 3 gang rags albums(OG, extended/uncut, reborn) are all some of blazes best work. Nothing will touch one less g from 2001. Although casket factory is damn good. I too never understood the hate for the original gang rags I thought clarks production was great and most of the songs were good(B&E, dub sack, holy shit, etc???) Besides the kmk feature. I could go my whole life and never hear them again. Except maybe dirtyballs he can spit.

The OG sucked ass, the one they released on MNE was 100x better. Another reason I always said MEC needed to take a break or some shit.

^ This. Blaze didn’t seem all that hype about the album himself.

A lot of the songs from the OG have grown on me. Its been awhile since I’ve given it a spin, may have to give it some love again.
