I'm surprised the 20th anniversary of The Wraith wasn't newsworthy. Crazy it's been that long but in a way it feels like a million years ago. For better or worse the world was a different place on November 5th, 2002. To say it was a unique experience seems trite, but I doubt anyone could ever replicate the energy and buzz that surrounded that drop.

Are you referring to Faygoluvers or ICP not making a post? Either way, I certainly never forget the "November 5th" date because of J's dope hype track "Simple And Blunt" from back then.

Yeah it's really hard to grasp that it's been 20 years. I often think about things from 15-20 years ago and in some ways it feels like it was just yesterday, but in other ways it might as well have been 100 years ago if that makes sense.

Shangri-La came out at kind of an odd time in my life. I grew up in Ohio from 2nd grade through my sophomore year of high school then had to move out of state to North Carolina because of my dad's job for my junior and senior year of high school. It was a strange time to move and leave all my friends and my girlfriend and everything going on for me. But Shangi-La's arrival was one of the good memories for me at that time for sure.
