I doubt they took the time to properly remaster it too. So basically everything they promised has been cut and “we’re not just gonna throw the albums in a box and sell it” is exactly what they ended up doing. Thanks Fuse for putting this up before it was released so I know not to buy it.

i dont care what anyone says this is a huge disapointment. no bonus songs. seriously dog beats?? ive had that shit for over ten years. being a cd collector i own original prints of icp’s entire discography so this collection is just not worth it. unless the booklets or whatever are really good. however im sure these will just be already pressed cd’s just thrown together. coc psychopathic release, ringmaster psychopathic release, riddlebox jive/battery version, random milenko color/island version, random ajb standard island version(without sleeve), shangrila d3 version, hells pit psychopathic. if these are just what we get i will not buy it. however if all the albums have been re-pressed with new printed booklets thatd be cool. like jake and jack split in half on the cover, a combo of milenkos colors(purple, red, green, yellow, etc), of course this wont happen. i was hoping it was getting delayed for more freshness but obviously they are being super fucking lazy.

I’d rather see them put out an inferior product, and end up loosing money on it. It’s about sending a message. They have to pay Island and Jive something for this. Let them take a bath trying to put out the lowest common denominator type shit. Maybe then, they will reprioritize their business stratagy and hopefully come full circle and start selling quality shit again. One can dream.

Hey, I haven’t fully written the box set off yet. The packaging could make or break this, in my opinion… but I don’t have high hopes. As a consumer, I find it my obligation to be a little discerning with my purchaces. I love to buy nice things, but giving my money away? That’s gay as a mouthful of dick. If PSY wants me to buy what I already own, they better give me a pretty good reason.

I’ve bought maybe a hundred box sets over the years and it is very rare to see one that has zero new or unreleased material. It’s strange. Even the shittier boxes usually throw in at least two unreleased tracks. Record companies have been using that gimmick to get people to rebuy music for decades.

I’m pretty sure LTB you’d buy a piece of Violent J poop if it was sold. Then go on to tell us how fresh it is.

It seems like, once again, they’re putting as little effort as possible into it to save a few bucks. I hope it flops if that’s the case. If it isn’t even remastered there’s no point. Guess we’ll wait and see for more details but my hype level went from 99 to single digits.

I seem to remember lots of people being pissed when this wasn’t being released, saying J lied to us. Now, that they finally got all the bullshit set aside and are releasing it, it’s still J lied to us. We have no idea how cheap it may be, but I bet it’s packed fresh as hell. I’m just not buying it because I already have all the CD’s in there, seems pointless to buy them again, especially when I own 2 copies of Amazing Jeckel Brothers, Shangra-la and Hell’s Pit, so this would be a third copy of all those. For people who don’t though, this shit looks tight. They finally can put it out, who cares about extras. It is what it says it is, the first six. Stop ya bitchin’.
