Who has Their fingers crossed for a well Crafted album? Maybe they will top the wraith? who knows? or they’ll be as bad as the mighty death pop?

nobody.  we all hope its terrible and, none of us wants a well-crafted album.

by the way, death pop wasnt bad.  you just thought it was.

the wraiths coulda been a hell of a lot better.  shangrila, in particular sounds like…  i dunno.  wack.

I say well crafted as in dope as hell. if it’s not then it’ll be as bad as TMDP. TMDP felt a little mainstream.

Besides Milenko and Jeckel Brothers, I’d say Shangri-La is one of their best albums under the ICP brand. Gotta admit, I do hope they deliver with some solid aggression and emotion instead of the playful, almost kidding around vibe they’ve given off in recent years. BPB and TMDP both had their few good tracks that banged, but not too much content that really stuck with me and made me want to revisit those records. Can’t say I’m as hype over the art for the new cards as I was the last two either, but we all have our own tastes.

Yeah Shangri-La had a few fresh tracks, but hells pit was more fresher. every track on hells pit was listenable. Twiztid put out mans myth and mutant, abk put out dirty history, blaze put out colton grundy, dark lotus put out black rain, along with icp’s hell pit, This seemed like everyone was doing good, and at their prime, then shit rolled downhill.

but who knows anymore, SEVEN pretty much moved to the trap sound, which does not take too long to drop a beat, MIKE P would probably keep this album going good.cool

I honestly think Hell’s Pit (sans real underground baby) is ICP’s masterpiece. They could have ended it on such a better note.

I have nothing to contribute really. I just don’t want this statement to go away. Made me giggle like a little bitch.

I feel like since the Calm, the question surrounding new ICP albums has been “will it be good?”.  What a shame.  Regardless of what the album sounds like, some people are gonna love it and some will hate it.  “Better sound” is an opinion.

and now i'm gonna be performin at Juggalo Day WHUT

the only ICP that has completely let me down was “the tempest” and even that has a few tracks i can still fuck with, but i am getting such a positive gut feeling when it comes to these records, like i havent gotten in a while. We will have to wait and see of course, and i am sure some people will absolutely hate it, that always happens, but i think its going to be a homerun

Mutant is hated on by alot of ninjas…dirty history has its moments but alot of filler…and next time you listen to Black Rain tell me Shaggy 2 Dope is “in his prime”…and ill call you a liar and a snappy dresser…

Opinions are like assholes after all.  Better is in fact an qualitative and an opinion.

I’m all for the next albums being an improvement on the last album but I think Mighty Death Pop is one of the best albums ICP has every put out. I think it’s EASILY on par with AJB and at least close to Milenko. I don’t think it sounds “too mainstream”, it just sounds clean. It doesn’t sound like anything on the radio and it doesn’t sound like they weren’t trying or anything.

Well for what my 2 cents is worth which is not much I really don’t see why I would have to cross my fingers for this card when it image wise is on. Even though maybe at first the images come off As not very good, I had no question from the very beginning some people it’s had to grow on, as far as sound goes if it’s anything like House of WaxI think we have a good shot at an amazing album something that we probably have not seen since The amazing Jeckel brothers andwraith era

I know thats a lot to swallow and have good faith in but its just the way they’ve gone about this album is completely different from the last couple yearsI guess I could say they are going about this the way that they should go about a jokers cardAnd I may have mentioned this before but has anyone noticed that we’ve yet to see any samplers and promotionAnd I don’t think that has anything to do with it not being good but it possibly being very well done and them just wanting their work to show for its self

heres a question did old joker cards ever need a infomercial or a video telling us its gonna b;e dope as shit ⸮¿?

He means a promo video like the things they do for the gathering.

Old Joker’s Cards didn’t have promo videos but we always got samplers. They used to release parts of songs mixed together with a funny skit and give them away at shows and shit leading up to the jokers cards release. They stopped doing that for the most part since the internet is a thing now.

yea that trap shit is going to frustrate me with seven J said this is a upbeat kind of cd so I fucking hope the fast hi hat shit isn’t all over the cd. Otis and Seven are both notorious for that shit. Man, i’m really excited to hear Mike P and Seven work together. Mike P made 2 of my fave icp cd’s and I been around since ajb so this is going to be insane. I see alot of people having different opinions about icp cds which is awesome.

My main thing with this next card is lyrics. I hope this shit wasn’t rushed and slapped a name together just to say hey new jokers card! I think Icp and twiztid both are great at what they do but they either rush shit or go in a direction that makes absolutely no sense. MDP and BPB were two prime examples of that IMO.
