Well, damn. Scottie D put in his review of Big Ballas that they announced Str8 Jacket did every track on FFF. That’s something. Perhaps that did indeed have something to do with the delay. Just speculation, but that COULD be a good sign if they just really liked the vision he had and were going for a more cohesive piece of work like they did on the first set of Joker Cards and went with it. Even better would be that we’d still eventually hear the other tracks they may have done with other producers on something else. 

Only negative thing for me there is that means he produced WTF! which I honestly think is a total turd from a production standpoint. But then again, he did Hoodoo’s new track “Bitch I’m Gone” and it’s super dope production wise.   

See, i feel the exact opposite. I love wtf! and I thought bitch I’m gone was a turd, other than homies guitar part which was mixed in poorly. 

Maybe the MEC stuff will end up on flip the rat. Or maybe they never made any shit with him. Who knows. I hope it wasn’t that they were working with him and then scrapped the work with him over some stupid shit. He’s the best at getting them to sound their best. 

We’ll see though, I guess. 

I think that str8 is versatile enough to make two very different sounding beats that appeal to different people, in different ways. That’s exciting.
