We all have one or two albums that we just really don’t enjoy. It’s different for everyone. Usually, even on those albums, there are one or two diamonds in the rough. What are those diamonds to you?
For me: Flamethrower from TMML:L and News at 6 O’Clock from the tempest.

we talkin within psy, here? since its up in the psychopathic section, n all.
crop circles from the calm is a fair example.
triple threat, off mutant.
its actually kinda hard to think of psy albums that dont have more than a song or two that i like.
albums that i have, i mean. theres probably twenty, by now, that qualify; i just dont buy em.
im sure i got mad examples in the cd collection from artists outside psychopathic.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

Flamethrower was the first song that came to mind from this thread. I also like Apocalypse from that one. There’s other decent tracks but the album just isn’t super memorable.
I dunno… I like The Calm.. The Tempest… TMML: Found…
Psychopathics From Outer Space 3… I only liked a couple tracks a lot. My Van was one. Put it Down.
Okay okay… I’m going to leaf back over the DJ Clay “mixtapes” and be back…
Edit: okay for Let Em Bleed 1, 2 and 3… Global Warming by Violent J… then 4ever Detroit… and Kept Grindin…. part 4 and those 2 other mixtapes just are so bland.

I like this thread idea. I feel compelled to reply!
Zug Izland – Saved (3:33)
This one has my vote for most forgettable Psy album of all time, but “Saved” is always a crowd pleaser.
ICP – Found (TMML: Found)
This song feels like a response to all of the hate that Miracles attracted, especially Shaggy’s verse. Spiritual, but still Juggalo-Nerdy. The rest of the album rates from bad to meh for me.
ICP – Manic Depressive (Wraith Remix Albums)
This double album was an uninspired idea. Just not good at all. But Fritz’s remix of this Hell’s Pit track ALMOST makes the purchase worth it. This track is criminally underrated.
ICP – Goblin (Forgotten Freshness 5)
A lot of ninjas likes this release. To each their own, but I don’t understand what there is to like. Goblin is that nerdy, old school ICP that you’re embarrassed to play around your friends, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
ICP – Half Of Mighty Death Pop
This album is weird to me. The entire thing feels like a swing and a miss to me. I dislike the album, as a whole, but I love some of the songs on their own, such as Chris Benoit, The Blasta, Hate Her To Death, and Where’s God. I’m also in the minority that believes Ghetto Rainbows to be brilliant.
Violent J – Candy Land (The Shining)
I don’t hate this album, but when you sit it next to Shaggy’s solo, or pretty much any ICP release, you can practically smell the lack of passion. Being a solo act is outside of J’s comfort zone, so the album comes across as busy work. Candy Land, and Home Invasion to a lesser extent are the exceptions, IMO.
ABK – Hated Me & Gang Related (Hatchet Warrior)
Most people love Hatchet Warrior. I don’t. The album comes across as rushed to me. These two tracks, however are a rare glimpse of honesty from within the Fam. ABK had the balls to be brutally honest with the juggalos regarding his feelings on the mob mentality that has always existed in this culture, and 13 years later, these two tracks are just as relevant as ever.
Twiztid – Static (Cryptic Collection 3)
Jamie steals the show, but the entire track is solid. The rest of the album is mostly forgettable, except for the Joker cover, and the hilarious secret track.
Twiztid – Welcome Home & Monster (Independents Day)
This album just didn’t do it. It was the first time Twiztid didn’t deliver for me, although Mutant wasn’t up to par either. (A few tracks on there REALLY made up the difference). It’s a shame because the first 2 tracks make you think you’re in for something special, and then the album drops HARD. It finishes strong with a good couple of closers, but by then, I had checked out.
Dark Lotus – Let It Rain (The Mud, Water, Air, and Blood)
Yeah, this one is controversial. A lot of you were feeling this release. I get it. Great concept, great production, and its the reunion that we never thought we would have. Valid points, for sure. For me, it just doesn’t click though. I thought Opaque Brotherhood was a masterpiece though.
On a side note, after doing my research for this post, I came to a couple of interesting observations.
i liked all of Blaze’s releases, and I couldn’t find anything from Road Fools that I liked.

ICP – Manic Depressive (Wraith Remix Albums)
This double album was an uninspired idea. Just not good at all. But Fritz’s remix of this Hell’s Pit track ALMOST makes the purchase worth it. This track is criminally underrated.
I agree that the album wasn’t too provocative. However, on rare occasions I like to bump it. Mostly for Kuma’s weird electronica remixes, but also for The Witch (Tech N9ne mix) and Manic Depressive remix. That is the perfect example of a remix being 1000% better than the original, ALTHOUGH I get the original. As I’ve offered before, I believe the reasons many people don’t dig Shangri-La is that it is overproduced, and Hell’s Pit is underproduced. Truthfully, Hell’s is mostly stolen from Midnight Syndicate, but anyway… I prefer to say that Shangri-La is meant to sound like it was otherworldly polished, like an angel’s wings. And Pit was meant to be minimalist, to further push the atmospheric despair for the Hades theme.
The Shining was really hard to love. It had solid stuff, but only a few tracks like Candy Land and 14 Years Old stood out for me. I am also the minority that like Jealousy…. but also as I’ve offered before, I love how Candy Land isn’t a metaphor about anything, nothing deep… just two grown ass stoner rappers rapping about goddamn sweets. And it’s dope. Yes, Shaggy’s album is completely, 1000% more listenable to me. I don’t think solo rapping is outside of J’s comfort zone, as he has always dominated the solo tracks on albums for years. Maybe I’m wrong.
Red Moon from FTFO.
This album is hot garbage. But that is a cool and much slept in song. Prelude, FTFO, and the twiztid song are good too.
Hot garbage? You are certifiable. Love that album.
Okay, the infamous Road Fools, which I actually own lol… All 4 U and How We Roll are pretty good. It’s an album that I don’t think should ever have been released on Psychopathic.

Welp, has to be off Lost. Let’s see…Definitely “Falling Apart”.
That song’s a diamond.
One of those songs that I didn’t appreciate until I saw it in video form. It gave it some life. Plus it was good to see Violent Joseph fit n trim again.

Midnight Syndicate is a group of musicians who do orchestrated horror soundtracks. If you’ve been to a Halloween haunted house you’ve likely heard their shit without realizing it. Their work has been sampled so extensively in the Psy catalog (Tales From the Lotus Pod, Mirror Mirror, Hell’s Pit, The Road) that it actually lead to a lawsuit a few years back that ended with Psy having banners up on their site that read something like “Hey Juggalos, be sure to CheckOut Midnight Syndicate!”
Most of their samples were jacked from Born of the Night. I actually found these guys by accident years before the lawsuit when my sister’s boyfriend gave me that exact album. He was into Reggae and shit and had no idea how it got in his CD Book and figured it looked like one of my CDs. Imagine my surprise when I spun it and heard the bones of some of my favorite Juggalo classics.
