It’s the sort of lame marketing scheme we would have laughed and joked about back when the six were coming out, thinking there was no way they’d ever stoop to that level. “What will ICP do after the sixth?” “Six more cards! Gotta pay them bills! Haha!”
It’d be laughable if it didn’t manage to somewhat tarnish the magic they built up for the first ten years of their career.
I agree but was just a part of their gimmick. When they started doing interviews out of character and being more serious kinda lost the magic part of it for me.When I was a youngin I thought they actually did kill people. But then I grew up..lol

I’ll be the first to admit I wasn’t thrilled when they announced a second deck. But I also got over myself and considered the fact that I’m (now) 31 and their music may never have that dark, mysterious feel it had when I was a teenager.
very true. now that im older (ill be 33 next month) I have a more open mind to different things than when I was younger.people change and so did ICP.people just need to accept the shit for what it is and enjoy it while we are all still here alive and breathing.Been thinking about the thread question and cant answer for first 6.But BPB its a toss up between clowns are back, zombie slide,in yo face or freaky creep show.MDP hands down Night of the Chainsaw. Not joker card but sky is falling followed by ride the tempest is dope as fuck.

True true, but let’s be real here. They were done with the Carnival, but fans wanted music and they still had the drive to make more music too. They drew together a new plan and dropped The Calm-Tempest-Eye of the Storm triple blast bomb supreme on top of the Juggalo nation.
Unfortunetly for them, it wasn’t too well receieved and sales dropped dramatically compared to past efforts. What would you do in their situation? Retire, continue pumping out non-Carnival content, or give the fans what they want and return to the Dark Carnival/Joker Card mythology that everyone loved? Personally the most latter option seems the most reasonable to me. I know a lot of ninjas hated Bang Pow Boom but I thought that album was fresh and was one of the best ways they could have possibly returned.
On a side note, I really wish they would start releasing sideshow EPs again, those were nice to have to tide you over til the next card
Bang!Pow!Boom! was fresh as hell man. it was a great way to get back to the scheme. It was very clowny too. a step backwards with Death Pop though. handful of good songs, but they could have stretched those bonus albums out, throughout the year, instead of doing the whold buy 3 versions of this cd bit.
I'll fuck you till you love me, Faggot!
