I did use the search feature and was surprised to not see a thread up.. but just like the title says who is your favorite psychopathic artist/and or group? I'm just curious..
Twiztid for me, don't even have to blink or think twice about it. They're lyrically better than any other psy artist, their music is very easy to relate to, multiple styles, and then you add Madrox's magical flow + Monoxide's raspy (but crisp) voice which provides that ear tickling goodness that your brain has been craving. Just a masterpiece of a duo.

I'm going to say Jumpsteady, and here is why;
His flow is inconsistent, his voice is weak on occasion, and he never really had a gimmick - but when I heard 'Thirteenth Skull' for the first time, my eyes were opened to an entirely different story-telling method that had never occurred to me before. At the time, I was a film maker and wrote scripts for comic books. I just love telling stories, always have. And so Jumpsteady made me realise that maybe I could do stories with music, too. Flash forward 2 years later, and I am doing just that; my flow is inconsistent, my voice is weak on occasion, but I do have a gimmick. I've always felt inspired in one way or another by everyone at Psychopathic, past and present.
But no one motivated me to try something completely new quite like Jumpsteady. And that is why he is my favorite.

Hands down ICP. I like Twiztid and Blaze too, but it's not even close. I think the clowns albums have so much more to them, and their live show blows everyone elses away. Iv never understood juggalos that like Twiztid more, and I know there is alot of them. The rest of the lable owes their career to ICP. Now if we're talking past and present, I'm also a HUGE esham fan, so it would be a hard choice between those two.

i disagree with twiztid being a perfect duo i fucks with mono but i think if madrox teamed up with a better emcee twiztid would be twice as nuts
regardless tho this is a really hard question to answer for me cuz i havent really been feelin much of the music psy has been releasing blaze is the only one whose stayed consistent with me the whole time where as i havent been feelin icps shit since bpb, heartbroken was twiztids 1st release that had to grow on me & i didnt care for the cc4 tracks or the american psycho ep even abks new ep had to grow on me
so based on consistency i gotta go with blaze although classic icp is my fav psy shit & madrox is hands down the best emcee on the label. i dont really count lotus & rydas cuz those albums come every 3 to 5 years

d12 they are on psychopathic right…..naw im jp but for real this is a toss up i love the wicked clowns, yet lotus is pretty steady as well…old school lotus OG with marz is also some pretty amazing shit even with abk replacement it was pretty nice….not gonna lie im also a huge fan of blaze..1 less g in the hood will forever put him on high on a long list of underground rappers when it all comes down to it im prob gonna have to go with icp…even tho twiztid is more lyrical on the talent side, blaze has more of that gangsta feel and does it well while lotus is just a supergroup and when they do a good track its great im also a huge rydas fan just because it so much fun to see what beats they re-invent

Easy, hands down it's Twiztid. They seem to be the only ones who show an improvement in production, lyricism, delivery, and in their singing year after year. They also seem to be the only ones who are relevant with the times and understand what the average 'lo and 'lette are going through. Plus, they always completely switch up their style whiling still remaining Twiztid on each album.

ICP is still #1 on psy for me. I would have to say that Twiztid often seems more talented when it comes to spitting, but they've also never brought me to the same state of mind that ICP's music has. The first set of Joker's Cards, and also the sideshow EPs, are like pure nostalgia for me. It's almost weird when thinking I hadn't even known who they were until right after they released the very last album of the first six. Twiztid is good, but they're number 2 and I'm pretty sure they've accepted that fact a long time ago.
I also used to really enjoy Boondox, but he's no longer on Psychopathic, so I guess that counts for nothing.

I never said they were perfect lol, I just called them a masterpiece. Something about mono's voice/tone I just really enjoy. I think Madrox and him vibe off of each other well, but I'm not saying I disagree with you because if Jamie was teamed up with someone better/more talented it would be a ridiculous duo, super wicked. I'm guessing your post was directed towards me since I didn't see anyone else say Twiztid was "perfect" or a "masterpiece" lol.WTF Why does it keep putting my post inside the quote, this forum really needs some tags lol

I'm pretty sure Twiztid will win this discussion every time. And realistically they have won the discussion since the era of Hells Pit ended.
My points:
1. They are the best lyricists, and writers. That is why the rest of PSY looks to them to write some of their songs. (No hate)
2. Their "gimmick" has never interfered with their music. What I mean is who they portray has never blocked them into a single style or sound. It also hasn't stopped them from being able to collab with other artists that aren't quite like them.
3. They have the largest range of styles. And do them all fairly well. Eg. Gangsta, wicked, nerdcore, rock, chopper, singing.
4. They are genuinely funny, That goes a long way.
I like to believe that The Calm, and The Tempest were ICP trying out styles that had worked for Twiztid in their own style of course. This new deck of cards is a mash of what worked on those albums, their old albums, and what has worked for Twiztid for years. Which so far has seemed to work for them as well. It's easier listening music, invites more than just juggalos to take a listen. It also shows other artists mainstream or not that they're finally ready to put out some music that can be collab'd on. All while still trying to push the same messages.
