Im running around opening Trader Joe’s in the DMV region, and in between catching checks as a store manager at my location.  Its good scratch and I enjoy doing it…No grad school for this guy.

Congrats. I’m done pursuing education now as well. Well, institutional education. I learn something new every day. When we move to Colorado I’m sure I’ll fig sum stuff out

It might have been, but for 1. we were all making juggalo jokes. 2. One good album doesn’t make up for those other forgettable ones. 3. It’s well known that AMB is not even close to being a strong seller on the hatchet because there are a lot of fans that just cant get into them. Some of the best comedy out there is stuff that’s blended with the truth homie.

Tales From The Lotus Pod – Favorite: Headache – Marz and Monoxide dominate this track. I almost chose Hurt Myself, but that song drags on way too long towards the end so Headache is better overall.

Least Favorite: Bitch I’m Sexy – Good track, but just doesn’t sound like a Lotus song at all.

Black Rain – Favorite: The Walls – Was hard to choose this over Pass The Axe, but The Walls is just brilliant. The concept, beat, and raps (ABK’s verse is the best verse on the whole album), it all works.

Least Favorite: Doornail Dorthy – One of the few Lotus songs that I don’t really like that much

Opaque Brotherhood – Favorite: Withered – This song is the absolutely perfect way to end my favorite album. Honorable mention to Backwards

Least Favorite: Basically none – they’re all amazing, but if I had to chose one I would probably say Falling.

“headache” is the ultimate lotus song if u ask me. the beat is dark and the lyrics are wicked. everyone killed that track.

“black rain” has a sick beat and everyone killed it.

“i wanna die” the beat is sick. i like mono’s verse a lot. the chorus is epic.

“swarm”. everyone killed it. J is nuts on here haha. marz just comes in like a beast. never understood why mono didnt have a verse.

“black magic” is a scary ass track. str8 up wicked shit. it feels evil as hell.

“that’s me” and “kaboom” are some bangers. just good songs with the whole posse

random favorites:

“ali baba” it set the tone for the album and wat lotus was. first day the album came out this song grabbed me cuz i knew from the start Lotus was different and was all about that black magic stuff.

“hurt myself” i dont give a fuck. i like when j was nuts and had that story telling style.

“Something” ya J is a little loopy cuz its a bizzar bizarr era track but twiztid murders it

“i dont care” is a catchy song. i like the back n forth style…”wats the main event on raw” haha

“bad rep” was classic ICP / Twiztid style with dark humor.

“bitch im sexy” was funny and i miss those days when they did those sex themed songs like “houndogs”. the sound fx intertwined with the verses is dope. same with “and we danced” haha a video woulda been funny for this. them in a graveyard with dead chicks.

“jump off” is a good song. blaze and J killed it

“drunken ninja master” damn i love this beat by Shaggy. its dope. the verses are sick. but the chorus is wat kills it. i actually have a mix where i cut out the hook haha.

“juggalo family” yes i loved this song so much when it first came out. but then overtime it just got corny. but it had its time and was dope for a while

everything on “opaque” idk i just didnt like the production. im a have to give it another listen. i never play the cd.

“doornail dorothy” was wack.

“pass the axe” i fucking hate this song. and its the one damn dark lotus music video. really pist me off

i still feel “tales from the lotus” is the best. it had a great theme. it was about black magic and had some evil songs. it was still filled with some humorous songs like “im sexy” and “and we danced” which is was drove mike e clark insane. he wanted all dark songs like “black magic” which i understand. but at the time ICp and twiztid were cartoony and they threw in those random goofy songs.

“black rain” is a good album. felt more like ICP, Twiztid, Blaze and ABK just makin songs. Didnt feel like Lotus if that makes sense. it was like they loosened up and just made songs. still a good album.

“opaque” just reminds me of “WICKED” just felt monotone.
