Watch it on billboard.com at the link i posted aboveThanks. I do not know why I did not see that, but can I blame it on my old age? But I gotta say that J is looking good with the weight loss. Did he do the lap band procedure and man, back surgery for Shaggy…..I hope that it does fix whatever his back issues are and that is something I wish I could get as well, but maybe one day
I don’t think it was surgery for j. It looks dramatic to us but we didn’t see him every day. At the gathering, he told me that he runs every morning. He said he been doing it for a minute. He said he went out and bought an old school cd player and gets up early, and bumps shit while he runs. He wants to wrestle so he is trying to be healthy not just skinny.
Who knows, I mean its Billboard and this is where I got it from
“Since his partner-in-clown, Shaggy 2 Dope, has been sidelined due to back surgery, Violent J begins a rare solo tour on Monday, March 14, with rap royalty Lil’ Eazy-E and Nova Rockafeller as openers” http://www.billboard.com/insan…..o-premiere
EDIT/UPDATED – See, told ya I am slow. I had to re-read your response and NOW I FINALLY got it. Good for him though on getting better. Maybe it could of been pills, but alas, whatever he did, whether good for the body or bad for it, he looks better and is healthier, so that is awesome

I agree. Does look like her and obviously it was Michelle on the vocals/chorus as well, so, maybe the next one could be I See The Devil. They could use what Phil Collins did in In The Air Tonight when Young Wicked does the chorus of the track – could work and could turn out to be a powerful video and its a powerful song as well

Good video. I liked it. Glad to see J losing weight and taking better care of himself. I’m at that point as well. I’ve quit smoking, and trying to get into better shape.Did you go the cold turkey route or went the ecig route? Ive tried the patch, the lozenges, been on Chantix, etc and nothing has worked for me. Any tips on what you did to kick the smoking habit?
@therevwells Cold turkey my friend. It’s the only true way to be finished with it. Patches and the gum are garbage, and chantix can make you suicidal. Cold turkey is the best way to tell your body and mind that it needs to get used to going without cigarettes because you’re in control, not your addiction. As soon as you feel you are in control of yourself, you’ll discover power from within yourself you never even knew was there. Addiction can be beat. But you have to fail a couple times first.
Here’s a good tip- try tar-bars. It’s a plastic tip you put on the end of your cigarette and it will slowly fill up with tar as you smoke. Alot of nicotine and chemicals get filtered out as well, slowly weening you off your usual intake. Worked for me.

My mom went cold turkey after 2, sometimes 3, packs a day. The day Obama was inaugurated she said “i thought having a black president was impossible. I thought quitting was impossible too.” so she quit. Only fell off the wagon once and it was after a year, it made her sick.
One thing she did was make a poster board of all the reasons she was quitting so it was the first thing she saw in the morning and the last thing she saw at night.

On the smoking thing…
I found that the only way to actually kick the habit and not just cut back was to go cold turkey. Haven’t smoked in 5 years now, and the only way I’ve gotten to that point is by waking up one morning and deciding that I was no longer a smoker. No “just one cigarette” shit, no substituting ecigs, no substituting other nicotine sources…that will just keep you in the mind frame of being a smoker and/or keep you addicted to nicotine. Years later and I still crave cigs sometimes…but I never give in, because I know that once could lead to twice and so on. Framing it in a way that says something about yourself (I am not a smoker) vs just thinking about the habit (I’m not smoking a cig right now) helped me… idk if that makes sense? Sorry if I’m rambling, I hope this helps someone! MCL

Ew. Dipping is even worse than smoking! And more gross.

It’s cool to see J actually moving around again. The comparison to AJB era is definitely accurate. But the video itself was lackluster as fuck to me. It would have been boring for them to do a shot by shot of what was happening in the song but I was expecting a little more…something. Not necessarily gore but, idk, something other than “rapper rapping under hard lighting with flashes of things that kind of relate to the song.” That’s a pretty tame visual concept for a song like that. Like they forgot they were suppose to do a video for it and had to make it last minute.

gotta say, I really like it. “Falling Apart” is my favorite track off of Lost and I’m not disappointed, quite the contrary I think it fits very well. And I must say, let’s be honest, if you like the new deck or not – they grew old. And while watching Falling Apart I think this kinda matches with their age and gimmick. Got goosebumps, I like it.
But why the fuck didnt they upload that shit on their psychopathic youtube channel?
And on a sidenote – why are the new Bonez Dubb videos not uploaded on theirs?
Not that that matters that much to me, but despite this I thought he’s part of the label.
