Asking her if it was a trap would be moot. She’s of course going to say it isn’t a trap. But in her eyes it will be me blowing off her birthday, her family, and her herself for the gathering. So there’s no way around the fact she’d be furious with me. She only says shit like that so that she can later double back and say that she didnt forbid me to go and that it was my decision not to. In another life she would be a brilliant tactician.

what i meant was, for me, hanging her on her own petard would be worth it.  im immune to that kind of trap, cuz ill just say fuck it, and trip the wire.  

for you, or most anybody else, that would be bad advice.

Please do. I am no graphic designer and quite an amateur at photoshop (If you notice it was just copy and pasteing from stuff I found on google images). I would pony up for a couple of shirts. If you need pre-order dollars before you start the endeavor, I trust you to keep my money safe. I have never done t-shirts so I don’t even know what is required.
