Two quick things:

I’ve interviewed marz a couple of times and he never once mentioned it to me when I talked with him about music he’s working on or planning to release so I don’t think it ever came out. I’ve never heard of this project but I’d be down to hear any songs they recorded. I dug the fuck out of marz(*).

J didn’t treat him salty at all. J was all on his dick. J wanted to sign him to psychopathic but he was still under contract with his former label who wanted a lot of money to get him off. J thought Marz set psychopathic up to try and con the money out of him and when J refused to pay the cash to his label, Marz and his label threatened to sue over the Lotus album. 

J basically pushed Marz onto everybody. He fought with the others at psychopathic records because he wanted to sign him so bad and nobody else thought he was that dope. J put him on Lotus and J pushed to have him on the psychopathic records sampler. J got him to wear face paint and drop the band and be more like icp in the hopes it would help get psy on board. He fought tooth and nail to get Marz signed up and then the shit happened with his label and he felt betrayed.

This is all from memory and it’s been a long time but that’s basically the gist of the story i got from Marz himself.

*I really liked Lung Fu Mo She and Gorilla Pimpin. The original lotus is one of my favorite albums, too. That said, he hasn’t done shit since and he’s all super super christian. He’s not like ICP with religion, he’s like fucking Pat Robertson. He posts islamaphobic shit on his facebook all day and night and he talks about how if you don’t believe in Jesus you’re going to hell and shit. He used to be into satanism and shit so I think he’s over compensating because he is straight up off the deep end now. I would not like the current marz to be on psychopathic.
