Lyte was supposed to be on a track with Twiztid, Tech 9, and a couple of others. A track listing for an upcoming released from the house of MNE was announced. Two days later, a corrected, updated track listing was released. Lyte was gone. Chuck Reeves suspects J and/or Billy Bill at Psychopathic Records are getting in the way of Lyte trying to venture out and make a name for himself and perhaps parlay his work with Tech 9 into future earnings that Psychopathic probably can’t pay him. Didn’t Violent J say at this year’s Gathering seminar Psychopathic wants to teach/help their artists how to go out and get their own? Aren’t Psychopathic Records trying to cope with financial issues as we saw with them changing their warehouse distribution? So why they fuck would they care if Lyte does a track that Twiztid happens to be on? Did J pull a bitch move and convince Billy Bill to squash Lyte’s participation? Chuck Reeves thinks so. And for good reason apparently.
