Father, I confess for doin it
I had a brain, but life had to ruin it
Screwin it, Disected, Don't Respect It
When you put me in a cage full of animals
Savages and cold blooded canibals
I can't help but become whats around me
try to run but they found me, surround me
Then they choke ya, and provoke ya
try to smoke ya, turn you into a joka
I tried to rub it off, but its all I know
the only thing I ever knew, so what to do
look at you, a bigot till your growin old
your growin mold, with a soul thats freezin cold
so I confess, but even if I'm all wrong
I'll be down with the clown till I'm dead and gone

Looking up into the sky helped me realize, about us
The clouds form a Devil's face, it must be a mirror image of the human race
Thoughts in my head
Of a society that is so fucked up and so evil
That if somebody prays, they get made fun of and laughed at
But it's not gonna be funny
They'll be laughing
When the bombs drop and the town is red
Thoughts in my head of a clown

if they dont, they may have some dogmatic conflicts to deal with.
Religion is black and white...no grey area. You either believe that there is some invisible guy in the sky with almighty powers and told a few men to write down some rule to life in a book(s) or you don't believe at all.
you serious? youre an atheist, but youre gonna tell me what i believe?
theres plenty of grey area, you and the pope got a lot more in common than you think.
this is exactly why i say things like, 'atheists are deluding themselves as much, or sometimes more, than the fundamentalists'.
i believe, you also may have some dogmatic problems to deal with.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I don't see how MDP isn't wicked....They are going to have all different types of tracks on an album like any other good artist...I know I don't want everything to be the same every time. There has to be some change and evolution whether u thinks it's positive or negative. Personally I think MDP was awesome but everyone I talk to says they changed too much when really they are doing the same thing....

"Youve had your big time in lust, sin, and filth!"
(Come, come on down, down.)
"What is it going to be when you realize the time is up?
You've crossed the finish line!
Going in the wrong direction." (I'll see you in the killing fields)
(Come, come on down, down.)
"What shall it be? What about it gentlemen?
(Come, come on down, down.)
"You're a burned up shell at 25 years of age. What shall they all be?" What
about it?

I gotta disagree with that. To me, the song is about a believer questioning their own faith in their god. I'm guessing that everyone who follows a faith has doubts and questions every once in awhile. Which is why more people are becoming athiest and agnostic. Because of the "dogmatic conflicts" as you put it. They can see the deeper they delve into it how the logic of religion starts to fall apart

Atheist = Free thinking clearly this dude is closed minded.
Religion + Government = Why this planet is the way it is. Former animals instincts has nothing to do with this...
Christians = Mindless robots. You want people to think and act like you TruBlue. Idiot.
Athiests aren't always free thinking and christians aren't always mindless robots. There are two realities, yours and the universes. YOU shape your reality, so as far as im concerned if you believe in god and it moves you to be a better person, then god is real for you. Athiests,Agnostics, and the Religious all have people who think their belief, non belief, or non committal are superior to other peoples beliefs.
Religion and government aren't corrupt, it's the people inside of it. They are both pure ideas by themselves. Think about , it....Jesus Christ. Whether he was real or not demi-god or not, it is the biggest religion in this world. This "imaginary character" has affected more lives than anyone else period. You could argue that religion is the cause of most wars...I think we would find other reasons to fight no matter what. We all like to seperate ourselves from everything and not focus on our sameness. He is black, or he is catholic, or he is chinese. No it's people who are evil. I think one thing that most religions have in common is "the golden rule". If everyone followed religion like they were supposed to and not use it as a scapegoat, then this world would be a better place....god or no god

looks like the song has a different meaning, depending on the listeners point of view. [and i can grasp that pov, too]
that, in itself, is pretty fresh.
oh, and, id say a given religion, or other belief system, only gets to call itself superior if it turns out to be correct. and if that, what about the rest of them? i know im not calling any winners at this time.

I don't know if there's a god, nor do I know that a god cannot exist. Gray area.
If there's a god, saying one knows of its existence is really claiming to understand an aspect of that god, and for a mortal to say they comprehend anything about a supreme, infallible, omniscient being diminishes its supremacy. People who say they "know" god exists are essentially insulting their god. And that's why I don't like cricket.
