Kevin Smith on the other hand.  I’m sorry, his wife is not a good actor.  She’s decent eye candy, but she kills many scenes.  And she doesn’t have a natural curseword voice (which is important for smith’s movies).

I fuckin’ love Rob Zombie movies lol. I could make similar comparisons about Quentin Tarantino movies or Michael Bay movies. Peter Jackson…Every director and writer has their own distinct style.

But even still, I think Zombie’s wife adds/takes away nothing from the movies.

 

Sugar Slam is hit or miss.  some songs she’s good (Double Clutch), sometimes she’s out of place (don’t Fuck With Me).

The one film that made me despise both Sheri and Rob is that awful sequel to his Halloween remake.  She was in it just to be in it, Danielle Harris was in it just to get fan boys to see it no matter how awful the film was, the gore was either in darkness, behind the counter, or prepared, and Danielle Harris’ death was so weak and lame.  So was the “psychological elements” of how every was affected and blah blah blah.  The LEAST they could have done was played Smooth Criminal or some shit at the party after Annie [Danielle Harris] died.  And I swear to god, there was only like 7 people in the theater 4 days after it opened when I saw it, and someone flat out said “…What the fuck?” when the end credits started to roll.  I don’t think Rob Zombie could direct a C grade Hollywood film at this point, hence having to use kickstarter to make films.

Anyways, back on topic… I didn’t think Sugar Slam annoying, and certainly not enough to post a thread about it, but oh well.

Tarantino is one of my favorite directors.I think his films are fuckin epic…Bay I think is horrible aside from a few good movies like The Rock or Bad Boys 1 and 2 were enjoyable.Other than that he is a Hollywood cocksucker. I never like lord of the rings or hobbit books so I never liked the movies but I havent even seen the hobbit ones. Jackson was the shit when he was directing horror movies.Dead Alive is dope as fuck.

Honestly, I need to see Django.  I will eventually, but Tarantino is on the bottom of my givvafuck list after Inglorious Basterds.  I’m just now getting caught up on my blockbusters.  Haven’t seen a single oscar winner last year.  I saw Godzilla and Kickass 2.  Those were fun.  

Godzilla was meh…kickass 2 didnt get though it.  I Didn’t like the first one . Sin City 2 was great though.Not as good as the first one but was a good sequel. Had a trailer for The Haightful Eight too. Dawn of the planet of the apes was my favorite movie this summer.

Tarantino “borrows” a little too much.  I get that he loves movies and he watches them… but he himself can’t write.  Maybe he should direct other peoples’ movies or something.  But him as writer/director doesn’t do it for me.  

 

On the other hand, he’s not making movies for me, he’s making movies for everyone.  And most people seem to enjoy them, so…  I just hope one day another director comes along and makes movies I enjoy.  Because what’s out there now just doesn’t do it for me.  

Rodriguez >>>>>>>>>>>> Tarantino.  From Dusk Til Dawn and The Faculty over anything Tarantino has done.  Tarantino wrote FDTD, but it was still better because of Rodriguez.  And tbh, I think John Carpenter is way better than Tarantino or Rob Zombie.  A few of Carpenter’s films were cheesy as fuck, like Starman or whatever that was called, but he hit the mark a lot more often than he missed it.  For me, anyways.

Anyways, I don’t care what Sugar Slam does; if J wants her to do it and she enjoys it, who cares?  Gotta give both of them a thumbs up for her looking a lot better now than what I’d assume were older photos.
