The track is dope as fuck imo. I will point out 1 thing i didnt like though. I hope twiztid n blaze arnt doing that fast rapping shit all over the album...because if they are then its not really lotus. That shit sounds more like an icp blaze twiztid collabo track then a collective DL track. No real complaints....jus hope that the rest of the album is dark as fuck.

When I first heard that ABK was being featured on one of the tracks, I knew something was up (What happened to "5 petals of the Lotus? I liked ABK in Black Rain but he's out of the group now. Why feature him on a single track? Add him back into the group or don't bring him in at all). Then we get this...
I have a bad feeling that this is going to be a massive disappointment. Doesn't seem like they put a lot of effort in this song (that guitar solo was especially out of place). The beat is basic and not wicked or Dark Lotus-esque at all. Sounds like a watered down Black Rain track. Hopefully the rest of the album is dark and more serious and not something that sounds like a Twiztid outtake or something. I like Dark Lotus when they're making cryptic, isolated music and not faster tempoed, somewhat comedic tracks. Those types of Lotus songs should be saved for the Cryptic Collections, Forgotten Freshness, etc. We'll see how the rest of the album pans out

They aren't rapping "fast" but they ARE "Chopping" the thing with chopping, and their NEW style, is that they are focusing more on intricate lyrics and rapping well, than they are on portraying emotion in their raps. Violent J is the king of emotion in rap.

Fair enough man. I have to disagree. Ive been listening to Mind Goes Mad from Get Twiztid daily and can hear plenty of emotion. Madroxs verse from that track sends chills down my spine everytime and the lyrics are the best theyve ever done. Thats just how I feel about it....But I can definitely concede that when J is on his A game, nobody is fucking with him, on any level. Problem for me is that is few and far between nowadays.
I honestly think people dont like them rapping fast(which to a dude like me who listens to Twisted Insane, they arent) because they cant rap along to it or cant understand all the words. Shit sounds crisp to my ears

I'm not saying they CAN'T provide emotion. LDLHAIBCSYWA or whatever it is is amazing, although that's "slow" relatively. I just think they are focusing more on rapping fast than portraying emotion. Lyrically Twiztid is killing it, and I even like their new style. I just hope that there will be more emotion placed with the intricacy.
I like J's verse on this song because it uses inflection and emotion. J's inflection is impeccable when he wants it to be.

I can dig it man. Like I said yesterday, I thought they all did great on the track. Also, like BZA said, they arent gonna please everyone. Im very confident they will use different styles in this album just like they did with Abominationz and New Nightmare. For all you cats who like Madroxs 'Fall Apart' gravel in the throat voice, Im sure it will be used frequently throughout.

Anyone have a decent rip (lol from a record) of the original embarrassed? I like the beat for that much better. In the woods is fucking fire. I think this song is awesome, but I can see where others wouldn't like it.
