Dark Lotus doesn’t use aliases like Psychopathic Rydas does, or Soopa Villainz did, so it’s pretty ambiguous. “I Don’t Care” was listed as a Dark Lotus track on Twiztid’s Cryptic Collection 2, and as an ICP track featuring Twiztid on ICP’s Featuring Freshness.
Who knows if all of the Lotus tracks were even originally intended to be Lotus, and not just collabs? It’s not like the music’s being written by someone different in each case.
What I wanna know is, why’s ABK not on the Lotus anymore? Opaque Brotherhood just wasn’t the same without him. Black Rain was their best album. I just hope this new one’s up to par. It would be cool if Boondox joined as well, personally, I think he’d make an excellent addition to the Lotus….

ABK’s not in Lotus anymore because he left over some bitch ass money and even though he returned and everything was hunky dory they still had to break his balls on something…at least thats what I think. I also think he blew horse jizz all over his verses on TFTLP reissued, so I don’t really miss him in Lotus at all. Black Rain is the shit, but it is not as great as original TFLP. I think that is actually popular opinion around here verifiable if someone goes and pulls the thread where we voted on the best Lotus CD.

I love ABK but I’m fine without him in Lotus.
Yeah its a tad confusing about Twiztid, ICP and Blaze collabos being considered DL or not. I mean, by that logic, couldn’t “Murder City Christmas” be DL? Despite no Blaze… so I still like my opinion best: if they’ve played the track together live AS Dark Lotus the group, then it can be considered DL track.

I’m almost certain they did… cus just checked @scottied 2001 GOTJ review and he noted that they did both old school ICP and TWIZTID tracks.. I recall Monoxide replacing the line
“But she dont see me I’m unnoticed”
With
“But she dont see me I’m a Lotus”
Said with relish, it was.
Also, to this day, the Twiztid performance the night before, and the DL show the next, were the best I’d ever seen. To this day. The energy was unreal.

Id use ketchup or hot sauce or bbq for the dip though. Never been down with the creamy white dips. Roland the Gunslinger said it best when he sees someone from our dimension scarfing a mayo covered sub:
