Things are more condensed on the Friday, things wrap up earlier that night. DJ Clay’s set was eliminated lol

Other things Ninjas attending should know-

The show is now 18+(changed from 16+).

Re-entry is cool so you can leave to smoke joints then come back.

Mandatory coat check is a thing.

Face paint is all good.

Here is the new schedule- Everything has moved from the Stampede Corral to the Marquee Beer Market and Stage.

The Map is available in pdf form at JuggaloWeekend.ca.

I arrive with my homie totally smoked out around 4:30 pm tomorrow, just before ONYX goes on. batman

Flying in from Toronto tomorrow morning.

Yo ninjas, posting from my homie’s place here in Calgary.

Halfway through Canadian Juggalo Weekend, I will post photos and a review when I get back tomorrow.

Here are some highlights from yesterday-

ONYX was on the same plane as me when I flew into Calgary from Toronto yesterday morning. They were awesome on stage. My homie and I thought they stole the show.

2 LIVE CREW were ridiculous, they are basically a comedy act now. Dude tried to get a girl to blow him on stage during the show.

SWOLLEN MEMBERS went on super late and had their mics cut off after four songs. The venue was being super strict with the schedule I guess. More on their weird short set later…..

Seeing ICP do the Riddlebox show was fresh as hell, they didn’t throw as much Faygo as normal, maybe they are saving it for tonight.

The whole event was moved last minute to a venue in the middle of a strip mall, DEFINITELY not like a Gathering at all, more like two super dope concerts that ICP is headlining back to back.

They put a tent outside for JCW and the merch.

Get to see ICP do an old school hits set tonight, stoked.

Violent J punched a fan who was jumping on stage last night.

What’s the merch game like there? I know there are two shirts, one being the Riddlebox one (I actually have one of those on the way to me from the guy that made them), anything else?

I took photos, will post them tomorrow. Hardly any cds but a shit ton of shirts. They have a few Canadian Juggalo Weekend exclusives and a lot of classic Joker card shit.

Here are the photos I took of the merch booth at Canadian Juggalo Weekend, they were selling pretty much only ICP-related stuff-

DVDs and CDs were 10$ Canadian, cheapest I’ve ever seen at a PSY show.

T-shirts were forty bucks, I picked up the dope Riddlebox Canadian Juggalo Weekend exclusive.

Also, this was the backdrop ICP used for the Riddlebox show on the first night, never seen it before-

My head count was around 400 people on the 1st day, 700 on the second.

ICE T definitely brought out some non-juggalos who didn’t know what they were getting into.

One guy tried to scrap me at the beginning of ICP’s set that night because I was moshing near his safe space. ?

I’m actually shocked all the acts showed considering the downsizing of the venue, but I think the event was a success.

The merch guy said they sold a shit ton of shirts.

Word. I got some good snaps of Hoodoo, Onyx, JCW, ICP and Ice T, will throw those up with a little mini review in a few hours.

Violent J even made the photo section of the Canadian national music monthly Exclaim, that issue just hit news stands today, and I got a copy.

I’ll put up a pic of that too.

It was due to low ticket sales.

I will post up the rest of my photos and a belated review of the Juggalo Weekend when I get back from the Twiztid show tonight, gonna review that show at the same time too.
