who ever it was, they killed it! I went from hating on Boondox to loving his shit because of this album. (Well I have yet to listen to his other CDs but Im sure they’ll be not bad) I cant wait to see him and Blaze in 2 weeks or so… its gonna be fun.

Hook may be “a musical or lyrical phrase that stands out and is easily remembered.” Ice Ice Baby would be a good example of that.

im still stuck in the classic world, wherein a ‘hook’ refers to a repeating musical element or motif, and specifically excludes lyrics.
bugs me when people say ‘hook’, and they really mean, ‘chorus’.

“Sucks To Be You” has a classic hook with its symphonic use of gunshots, much like the cannons in the 1812 Overture.
