For the record the boy is not “young boondox”. Boondox is the evil within the boy. The direction behind the video is grade A awesome whomever came up with the idea was a genius. He still looks like a limp wristed t-rex though. Really wish he’d just stand still or something instead. The music…meh not that great but whatevvz, totally worth the 5 minute download to pirate it.

I just can’t get into Boondox, and this song and video isn’t helping any. I just…..can’t.
Props to his boy for letting him film that shit in his basement though, that was nice of him. In order to keep it mystifying (and him having to move his shit out in the process) he was limited to rapping by the staircase and the corner right above the crawlspace.
I think the general consensus among a lot of ninjas in this thread is the video looks very amateurish and the song is mediocre, and I agree with those feelings. Also Boondox is turning into a complete tub of shit. Him swinging that hammer in the video is probably the most exercise that cat has got in a minute. He looks terrible. Expect him run out of breath at live shows while rapping, a lot more than he already does. I was hoping for way more from Boondox for his comeback debut single, thumbs down![]()

I had never even heard the original version of Abaddon before this album dropped. So I youtube’d it. And wow, I can’t believe the high amounts of people who say they prefer the dubstep version over the album version. Like really? The dubstep version is a mess! The album version is a much more accurate tone for the lyrical content. I think what it is is people are annoyed that Violent J decided to contribute his voice to the chorus of this song for the album version, and the dubstep version was all Boondox. Sad to say, Violent J has become that person who jumps in your photos just as the camera flashes. It makes sense though. If you pay to hear Boondox, or Blaze or whomever, that’s who you should be getting, not a constantly forced guest spot by a co-founder of the label there to remind you he’s the one you should be thanking and clamouring for, and making the other MC feel like a tacked on act.
As for this video, I liked it, definitely! But it looks as though it had a budget of 10 bucks. A little blood splatter would have helped enhance the wickedness of the whole thing, is all I’m saying. Other than that, I liked this video, and hope another one for Abaddon is released soon.

^^^Tech does that shit much more often the J does. Dude always has like four spots on every album that drops on his label
