I hope ICP doesn't think they can pull this off without Twiztid. Honestly, Id rather that they just cancel it.
The Big Money movie series is dependent on Paul, Jamie, Joe and Joey ALL being there, otherwise it's just not the same.
I'd be down to see them try to launch a new movie series though... maybe a romantic comedy or an epic Lord of the Rings style saga.

they sure as hell can, as long as J is the bad guy and Shaggy is the good guy it will still follow the formula

Initially I'd agree. Given the current situation of things, though, I doubt Twiztid will be reprising their roles. Besides, Stank and Poot technically existed before BMH. J mentioned in his book that they already had these characters, though likely they were just dumb personas that Twiztid used to just riff on.
I wouldn't cancel it all together. I agree that Sweets needs goons to play off of- get Clay or Lite in there, let them improvise and do their own thing, and I really won't care so long as its funny. Switching up the dynamic also helps from keeping the concept from being a lame retread.
As for doing a Lord of The Rings thing, isn't that the next logical step in the Big Money series? Crime>Western>Scifi>Fantasy

Nah, fuck that. Jamie and Paul were funny in the first one but they ain't super important.
Throw two dudes in the roles and have them killed off in the first 10 seconds and we good.
Twiztid didn't make that shit what it was.

I love Hustlas. It makes me laugh, genuinely laugh. Especially with certain company.
I named my two sugar gliders Big Stank and Lil' Poot (RIP).
But the people I laughed at most were ICP, The Chief and Harland Williams.
The style of humor in the first is so much more relatable to me. Rustlas, however... It was really, really hard to sit through it. I don't care to watch it ever again.
The hardest I laughed in the whole thing was at the beginning, a sight gag about Uncle Anus.
Violent J wasn't funny, Twiztid did nothing memorable, the homie Jason Mewes was wasted. That fucking nasally voiced guy was the worst thing I've ever experienced in a motion picture. Ever.
Leave it alone. No Thrustas. Hustlas 4 life.

Look bro, I love Twiztid still, hell probably like them even more than ICP. But twiztid hardly made the movies. They had some memorable moments...actually, the more I think about it, the more I realize their only super great joke in that movie was "magic magic ninjas what? magic magic ninjas what?"
the best parts of that movie, to me? Mick foley cameo, and the way the sound effects get more and more ridiculous as the movie went on. But hey, thats just like...my opinion, man.
and I have to agree with Dangerous on this one. Rustlas was pretty fucking stale.
thrustas might be good, MIGHT be, but at this point it just feels like it's they're not really trying anymore, their heart just ain't in it.

I'm honestly surprised that most of y'all disagree about Twiztid being vital to the Big Money series. I know that there's a lot of anti-Twiztid sentiment right now and emotions are still high, but I'm still surprised.
I mean, it goes right back to the conception of the idea. BMH was one of those inspired ideas that the four had together. That's one of the things that was so fresh about that era. Both groups got together for the first time and clicked so hard that they had a slew of ideas for what to put out, including this, Dark Lotus, Psychopathic Rydas, the entire notion of having a Psychopathic Family, and a whole bunch of ideas that never even saw the light of day.
People seem to forget or weren't around to see that before Twiztid came around, Psychopathic Records was basically a one hit wonder. ICP was their claim to fame. Psy wasn't some powerhouse that created stars out of nothing. They were brand new to being a *national* brand as opposed to a local thing, and it can argued that ICP and Twiztid learned and grew together.
So this idea that Twiztid owes their fame to Psy is revisionist history. It was a partnership, not an apprenticeship. Why do you think Twiztid were made co-owners in 2004? It's because they were a major reason behind the label's growth.
I mean, look at it this way, if ICP is #1 in the Juggalo culture and Twiztid is #2, then who is #3? Certainly in the 20 years since Psy went national, they'd be able to point to another group or individual that they created that could potentially challenge Twiztid for that #2 spot. But nope. Whoever #3 is, it's a distant third.
My point, let's give Twiztid at least a little credit for all the freshness that we got back in the day, including BMH.
Im not trying to prolong this dumb beef discussion, but the topic at hand is the future of the film series. Since I believe that's Twiztid is a vital part of the formula, Id be making the same argument if something else had happened, like for example if one of the four had passed away or something.
It just wouldn't be the same. It could potentially be fresh, but it wouldn't feel like a Big Monry movie.
Which is why I say, just make something brand new and exciting instead of just reliving the old days of a bygone era.
And last, if you honestly believe that Twiztid's main contribution to the film is just the "magic magic ninja" chant, then I suggest that someone might be clouding your judgment. They have so many memorable scenes that it would be tiring to list them all here.
So did J and their special guest stars, but Twiztid was the wild card in BMH. That's when the juggalos got a true glimpse at how talented Twiztid is/was.

Who is number three? Blaze? Abk? Four? Sadly young wicked.
Twiztid were an apprenticeship. Don't get that fucked up. Fact is, icp got LUCKY getting national coverage and they brought twiztid along for the ride.
There were dope ideas and a lot of energy and it was exciting. As twiztid grew into who they became, they earned a higher status. There's no question that they helped build up the label but they did so SOLELY by building themselves up. ICP went out of their way for years to get people into twiztid.
And let's not forget, they tried repeatedly to make it happen before and after twiztid. Myzery. Project Born. PHE. Zug Izland, V Sinizter, AMB, the tunnel runners, and now lyte, blahzay, and hoodoo.
I'm good without twiztid. Haven't bumped them in a decade at least. But I don't hate them. I want nothing but success for them and theirs.
But ICP cant just abandon all of their ideas, their history, because twiztid decided to bounce.
I hope twiztid go out and make their own movies and do their own things. I would watch their movies sooner than I would but their music, but they ain't that important to icps ideas.

Judgement? No. But I haven't seen big money hustlas in ages. it's genuinely the only big "twiztid scene" I remember from that film.

True. The only person Twiztid tried to bring along was Blaze. The ROC relationship was always a confusing thing.
Twiztid n ABK used to beef. They said ABK was "a dick". He really never came off like that to me. Twiztid have, at times. In person and on interviews. But that's cool.
Bootleg and Shoestring said certain people on PSY were hyper-competative and hateful. Twiztid seems to fit that bill.
I dunno. Tonight's gonna be a good night

Thrustas would be dope! Twiztid doesn't need to be in the movie, its in the future right? So, Big Baby jet pack can give us a story how they were killed off in a ninja sword accident or something.
ICP Made twiztid. In the Audio book J describes how everywhere they went and everything they did they included twiztid. They wouldn't do photoshoots or nothing without them. Twiztids first tour they were in tour bus with ICP not in a VAN paying dues. Twiztid was spoon fed success and then they bounce on some stale shit. They owe there lives to ICP. Not saying they aren't talented don't get me wrong. But give ICP credit where credit is do. They paved the way for all of the artists we love today don't forget that. At least ICP is putting it out there and Marching for us instead of hiding in a ninja suit.

I'm not sure if psy is still planning this but they should wait til things are all good with twiztid again before tryin to do so.. it just wouldnt be the same.. and they cant re-cast their roles..
However, I got the perfect idea for their next movie.. in 2019, a movie just came out called "Blinded by the Light" it's about a Bruce Springsteen fan and how his music spoke to him.. this movie is just dying for a Wayans Bros type parody.. watch it & tell me ICP songs wouldnt fit perfectly.. the jokes practically write themselves.. I think the biggest issue would be casting it right.. & they might need to get Def Jam on board for the soundtrack (for both ICP songs & songs from whatever decade it takes place in).. but Def Jam havent been so hot lately so I doubt theyd wanna be attached.. still.. a parody of that movie is such an easy, funny movie that could be made..

Once again, Twiztid AREN'T the movie. They are side-players. Matter of fact, the only time I laugh at them in Hustlas is when Monoxide does the whole "who got the baby oil?" scene.
I just thought of this... imagine putting Ouijja and Lyte in the film. Love em or hate em, they have enough uniqueness to bring forth some creative characters. Big Hoodoo, Esham, and whomever. Even Blahzay Rose would work if she was confident enough to self-parody the image of her herself. Anything is possible.
We all love Twiztid. We love them. But they aren't responsible for the success of "Hustlas" filmography.
