The shit in the track may have never actually happened but the imagery that the lyrics conjure are very real. I like stories in music and this song definitely does it’s job. I liked this a lot better than the last one(not that the last one was bad)

I like this one a lot quicker than Hexed grew on me. I agree with Warlock about some things, such as the face paint. I think maybe if ur was just toned down a bit and perfected, or just not there at all, his gimmick would shine brighter. I think its an interesting prelude to how his character considers voodoo. If one were to truly over think it, the rappers’ “voodoo” could be a metaphor for anykind of outlet for ttroubled modern peeps: music, for one. Make a concept about that, voodoo as musical outlet for angst and creativity, that would be dope.

J felt really out of place on the chorus, but that’s my only real complaint with the track. Not the kinda music I was expecting off the album, but I can definitely dig it.

I’m not going to diss this guy just yet but here are a few of my first impressions…
Hexed and Never Had were both alright. Nothing great. His flow is pretty generic and it makes me kinda sad that Psychopathic would settle on talent of this quality when every label around them is getting better and better in the skill department. Seriously. From what I’ve heard so far he reminds me of Killa C. Not even close to being a good rapper at all. As far as his image goes…… Dude. What the fuck? I get the whole face paint thing and that doesn’t really bother me and the blacked out contacts are cool when he uses those. But why does Psychopathic feel the need to dress him up in a little costume with an over coat and top hat? That’s lame as fuck. Let the man wear regular clothes please like the rest of the performers on your label. I also think the name Big HooDoo is pretty lame as well. Doe Dubbla was fine.
That being said I’m not ruling him out just yet. I had similar impressions about Boondox in 06 and he is honestly one of my favorite rappers now. Boondox just got better and more skilled every year that went by and now he’s a fuckin beast. So yes, I will pick up Crystal Skull from the record store on release day to support Psychopathic like I always do in hopes that Big HooDoo will grow on me and maybe he will develope his skill and become a mainstay in my collection but if he doesn’t grow on me, oh well. I tried.

Good track, Excellent Vid. I dig the track I liked the Hexed vid too, But I have a sense that this will be a great fuckin album. Its a little different from everything else psy has released.
