I'm not talking about favorite tracks off shaggys solo albums, either.
While violent J has a long list of "insane clown posse" songs that are just solo songs released under the ICP name. Shaggy doing that is much more rare. I'm thinking songs like "get off me dawg", or "bazooka joey".
So, what are y'alls favorites?

Oh shit.. Our Hero is one of the best of the post-6 cards era
For real, 100% agree. That song came so out of left field for me, too, because I wasn't really feeling BPB when it dropped, and generally felt like ICP was just decreasing in quality more and more, and then Boom! It's one of the best – and increasingly rare – examples of a perfectly executed (post 6) ICP song for me. Because let's be real, we love em, but you have to overlook a lot of flaws in a many songs. Being off beat, cringeworthy screaming, messy writing, half assed flow, bad attempt at singing a hook, etc. It's fine, enough times the dope parts of a song still outshine its flaws, but it also makes me appreciate songs like Our Hero even more. It's the type of song you can play for your homies that are straight up hip-hop heads and don't get the whole Juggalo thing.
Shaggy just sticks to the beat like glue, effortlessly flowing along.
The beat is fucking smooth.
The narrator kills it.
Speaking of which, the dude gives a similar performance to Dennis Hopper's on that Gorillaz song. The instrumentals are also kinda similar in how they're centered around the bass guitar.

The Violent J equivalent to such a song was always Haunted Bumps to me. In terms of just sticking to an understated (but dope) beat, flowing in a way that's steady but deadly and just on fucking point. I also get similar vibes from them in that they are both chill and yet aggressive at the same time.
But this is a Shaggy thread. The original Fuck Off is a classic obviously, and it's also one of my fave's, but I've also always had an affinity for the remix MEC put on Murder Mix:

lol, i thought J was only on the hook.. its hard to find no J on a track.. he's at the end of "get off me dog"..
Personal. I don't consider hooks or brief little cameos alone. Like, to me 6 foot 7 foot is still a J solo even though shaggy jumps on the track for a few bars.

Goddammit I love Alley Rat. If you want some fun, play Alley Rat in sync with this Gnarls Barkley video with the Gnarls volume turned down.
Hilarious
I also feel Basehead Attack to be a Shaggy solo despite the J verse.
Currently watching this year's Hallowicked on YouTube, it is wonderful. The energy is good as hell. Shaggy performed "Get Off Me Dawg!"
